This was my first visit to On The Green Salon. I made an appointment to get my hair back to its natural color. It’s over processed, damaged and I have a good amount of grey hair to factor in. Jaclyn took all the time I needed to discuss my options and come up with the best way to achieve the look I wanted. She then spent hours putting over two hundred foils in my hair. There was attention to detail at every stage of the visit. With all the time it took to do the foils she still took her time and styled it beautifully. Jaclyn, thank you taking me from brassy to classy and thank you for a wonderful experience!!!

Critical: QualityMy stylist was very sweet. But if you have true natural hair this is not the salon for you. The mask used to repair my hair was amazing, but the services were a no. A flat iron was used on my hair while it was soaking wet (My hair was not dry, and the sopping wet hair above was dripping down onto the “dried” hair!!), my hair was roughly “detangled” starting at the ROOT of my hair( while blow drying) instead of proper detangling by sectioning and combing through starting at the bottom and working her way up to avoid knots. There was no detangling at all prior to blow drying actually. Then i was told id have to chop off 2 inches of my hair to which i delcined as politely as i could and got the heck out of there. I immediately went to another salon who made my hair feel amazing and she DID NOT have to chop off 2 inches. If youre a natural, you should already know the vibe. Stop saying you have a hand in natural hair if in fact, you do not. This was a VERY traumatizing experience for me. My stylist was very sweet. But if you have true natural hair this is not the salon for you. The mask used to repair my hair was amazing, but the services were a no. Had a facial there today and it was amazing! Everyone is so friendly and it’s reasonably priced. The restaurant next door is way too loud and did make it hard to relax.

After 3 months I am updating/ adding to my review. After the owner, Mary Rose, refused to talk to me about the issue (emails documenting this) I have had to open a dispute. Unfortunately I have had to open one multiple times because the owner, Mary Rose, continues to state I didn’t leave the salon unhappy. Clearly my previous review was written immediately following these services. Bottom line I don’t recommend them but if you go don’t pay if you’re not happy expecting them to fix later – they won’t.

A dear friend blessed me with a gift certificate and I chose a one-hour massage. It was heavenly!! Beautiful salon and spa. Kat was my LMT and she made my experience 5-star. EXCELLENT massage, professional, relaxing and I will definitely come back regularly.

For years I would buy a certificate for my friend who lived in this location. Loved how happy it made my friend. Then, I bought a certificate and found that my friend had moved away and could not use the certificate. I called expecting a refund minus the credit card transaction fees. I know no one in this area to give the certificate to. My own business would have refunded the money without question. What kind of an operator would not?

Paid for an hour facial, was cut 10 minutes short. My manicure and pedicure were canceled because the woman had another appt– yet my appts were booked weeks ago together. I was offered a new appt time but declined and received my services elsewhere. I recieved an insincere apology and discount for the inconvenience.
