My 20 year old daughter went in and wanted BLONDE highlights and walked out with orange, green hair.! When the owner called me the next day because supposedly she wasn’t there that day. She cursed at me and blamed my daughters’s thin hair. I was in shock. I would not recommend this salon. Very unprofessional and damaged my daughter’s hair. When I asked could I bring her in and they could fix it the owner said NO. 200 hundred dollars later.

Horrible experience, cancelled all of my future appointments with them. Went for a hair color yesterday (that took almost two hours). Was told that I had to leave with my hair wet because I didn’t choose the blow dry service. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. I have been getting my hair colored for years and blow drying my hair when the service is complete is part of that process. I have been a consistent customer at this establishment for a while and a good tipper to the people who do my hair. That ended yesterday when I was treated like someone who wasn’t worthy of quality hair care. My stylist, Sarah, became argumentative when I explained that I never had to “choose” the blow dry service in the past. They literally wanted me to walk out with soaking wet hair. I was told I could use a station to dry my hair on my own, which I reluctantly did, and then was charged almost 100 dollars to do the bulk of the work myself. They boast that they are an upscale salon, but provide subpar, overpriced services. I have cancelled my future appointments and my wife and mother in law are no longer going back. Do better for your customers!

I visited two weeks ago to get some lowlights & for her to blend/match my root. I should have said something before I left but she was so sweet and I didn’t realize how bad my hair was until I got home. She didn’t match my ashy blonde root, she instead put a red/brown color on that is at least 5 shades darker and toned the rest of my hair to a very very dark grey. I explicitly stated I didn’t want my roots darker than my natural hair color so I didn’t have to keep up the maintenance. The dark color looks god awful against my skin and even color remover won’t take it out. If they have inexperienced hair stylists working they should make you aware of that before you book with them. I highly suggest not going here.

I had a very bad dye done at a different salon, I called and made an appointment to get my hair fixed and they did an amazing job. They got me in quick and were so so so nice. They definitely have me as a returning customer. I went from an awful orange color to burgundy. I got a cut and a dye for a great price. HIGHLY RECOMEND!!!

Best hair salon in our area. The staff is equally trained in color, cut and styling. The salon is beautiful, clean and all that you could hope for. They are very busy so make your appointments well in advance. Maura is wonderful; she was busy so I booked with Teri, then both Maura and Teri were busy so I booked with Caroline. I’ve never been disappointed.

I recently switched salons after hearing so many good things about On the Fringe. The atmosphere is very friendly and everyone there is super personable. A very good friend of mine, Caroline, has now been cutting my hair for a few months and I could not be happier. I needed a ‘fresh look’ for my upcoming wedding and she did a fantastic job giving me a new style. My fiancé and her friends are all getting their hair done for the wedding here as well. A + thank you !!

What an amazing place. Beautiful and fun atmosphere. Wonderful staff.First I had my brows waxed by Kailin. Then I went for a massage by Mary Kate. Such a nice experience. I’m still walking on a cloud ! Highly recommended.

My girlfriend had a pretty negative experience here recently. The salon was extremely crowded and it was her first time getting her hair done there. It was not welcoming at all. The young girl who did her hair didn’t even have time to wash the color out or dry it as she just threw the color in and then went off to take her next customer. My girlfriend asked for light ash blonde ombré highlights and she got traditional chunky brass yellow striped highlights starting at the root. She was so upset. She even took pictures of it and sent them to family and friends to make sure she wasn’t just overexaggerating, and they too could not believe how it looked. She went another salon in the area who fixed it for her the best they could. Overall a very negative experience unfortunately as she was so excited to try out this place after hearing good things.

Love this salon. I had balayage done for the first time. My natural hair color is brown, and I wanted blonde painted in. My stylist listened to exactly what I wanted as far as what shade of blonde. It was perfect. I looooved the color. Would recommend to anyone.
