I was really quite impressed with how knowledgeable and caring the staff were, especially the stylist Violet I worked with. I’ve never had anyone be able to help me tame my ginger Celtic curls let alone teach me how to work with them. Violet was instructive and kind, making sure I was able to see each step of the process. Best hair cut I’ve had in ages. Loved my stylist! They asked me to come back in 8 weeks later, for a “check-in”. Turns out the check-in is another $120.00, for repeat cut, i didn’t ask for, and was not disclosed at the time of scheduling. Does that sound like a good business model?

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a salon. Joy cut my hair today and it was absolutely wonderful. Her personality just glows through her passion in cutting hair and she was so informational about absolutely everything. Made sure I was doing okay through out while washing and styling. I have never gotten a curly cut and as this being my first time, I will never go back to another place again. Olycurl has won my heart, hair and curls.

Had my first appointment this week and it was amazing! I only recently decided to embrace the “curly girl method” over my round brush and hair dryer. I couldn’t be happier! Oly Curl isn’t just a place to walk in, sit, get a wash/cut and go. They are all about educating the clients about hair type, products, and process. I left with confidence that I would be able to sustain the look they achieved. I was a little concerned I would forget something, but they put written info in my hand to help me remember what to do at home. Great experience and I will definitely be there for the long haul. Thank you for helping me find my natural curl!!

I unfortunately don’t have the before picture, but just know my curls were not as defined as this! Renee was SO sweet and walked me through the whole process. I already knew a bit about CGM but I learned a few new things. Definitely found the salon that will be stuck with me for awhile.

I’ve been a customer for a couple years, off and on, at OlyCurl. The hair cuts are nothing spectacular, overrated, and overpriced. I like to go there for the cowash products mostly. Terrible customer service. The worst cancel policy…I called five hours in advance asking to cancel my appointment, I had a throbbing headache. They immediately told me they were canceling the appointment and I had to pay a 50% service fee because “a headache is not communicable illness”, they did not know or ask any other symptoms. Then they told me I cannot rebook because I refused to pay the fee. Emergency and/or illness, including a throbbing headache is an excusable reason. By the way, headache is one symptom of COVID. I was still willing to make it to my appointment, throbbing headache and all, but I was not given the choice. It was either pay for a service I did not receive, or take a hike. I’ll take a hike and go to another salon.
