I was in La Quinta for a few days with my partner and needed to get my nails infilled. I always get some sort of design but I was a little nervous going to a new place. Christina took a lot of time smoothing my nails and making the hard gel much thinner than its ever been – I never liked it thick. My nails were reshaped and I had silver glitter added to the tips. We chatted a lot and I also chatted with the other customers – it is a very friendly atmosphere and very relaxed. I was there almost 1.5 hours as she took time over them and we were all chatting and in no rush and it was only $55.

Very nice staff but they exercise their own agenda. I asked for the regular pedicure at $35 and she tried to upsell me on a more elaborate one. I said no thank you, just a regular. But as the service went on she was doing things that were not included in the regular service. I decided to let it slide and pay for more expensive one – whatever that would be. At checkout she charged me for their most expensive one at $55. BTW, my friend next to me heard me restate that a regular pedicure is fine. So it was not a misunderstanding. I paid it and didn’t say anything. Whatever – it goes to a small business. But what inspired me to write this review is that she didn’t use the Polish color I requested – everyday OPI big Apple Red. It’s magenta. I didn’t notice color difference until I left salon and we had no time to return. It would have been professional to tell me my choices if she couldn’t find that color, but she didn’t. In short, they will do whatever they want to do.

I tried to find out if they do gel nails. Well let me tell you it was the hardest conversation I have ever had. They do not know what gel nails are. They just use gel nail polish. I tried and tried to say no that is not right she got annoyed and said just come down tomorrow I said you are 20 minutes away and I am certain you have no clue what a gel nail is. So ya I am not going.

Tam spent over 1 1/2 hours on my pedicure. It had to be one of the very best i have ever had. So relaxing and enjoyable. I will definitely see Tam again. Pedicure

Such a Beautiful spot to enjoy being pampered. I recently took my daughter there before I had to go into work. She got her gel nails and I had a manicure. We were so happy with all the ladies kindness. My daughter is a Type 1 Diabetic and rarely she gets low blood sugar, on our visit these ladies had offered my daughter a few snacks to help with her glucose and I could not be more grateful! Other than their kindness towards my daughter and helping out- this was a relaxing beautiful environment.

Unfortunately I can’t recommend this nail spa. My pedi was sloppy so I’m going to spare you a photo of it. I needed to remove my nail polish after getting home. In all fairness the place is in a great location and has good facilities and everyone was friendly. However their service felt rushed yet took longer than expected and the end result was not great.

The first time I went it was great, but this time was aweful!! I went to go get my acrylic nails removed (which i can do by myself but didn’t want to deal with it). I waited for like 20 minutes no big deal. There was no one behind me so I thought she’d take her time, but when the lady was removing my nails she cut me not once (which is still bad) but TWICE!! The second time really bad to where, if she hadn’t put nail glue on it (which is not good either), it could literally lift up!!!!! It hurts when it touches anything and its throbbing!!!! And I still payed…. Never going again and wouldn’t recommend!!!
