Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityNOTE: Stylist responded that they tried to call but I received no voicemail and no message on Facebook messenger where I booked and they confirmed the appointment. The other stylist also tried to contact her with no luck when we were there – we left roughly 30 minutes after our appointment was scheduled.We were traveling to Florence from out of town and I booked an appointment to have my husbands hair cut at Old Town Barbershop the day before our wedding, given that, with covid, his hair hadn’t been cut in 6 months. I requested the first appointment of the day so we would be in and out and limit our exposure. We arrived for our appointment, there were 2 people in the salon, along with a stylist. The person in the chair had no mask, and the stylist had no idea who had booked the appointment or where the other stylist was. We waited a few minutes while the stylist there tried to contact the other stylist with no luck and finally had to go try to find someone else to cut his hair last minute, given that our wedding was the next day. The barbershop we found was HORRIBLE and scalped him. Never received any communication from Old Town Barbershop regarding why they never showed, no apology, nothing. NOTE: Stylist responded that they tried to call but I received no voicemail and no message on Facebook messenger where I booked and they confirmed the appointment. The other stylist also tried to contact her with no luck when we were there – we left roughly 30 minutes after our appointment was scheduled.

Critical: ProfessionalismCalled almost 3 weeks ago and was told my 2 sons would be put on a list for cuts and was advised I would get a call in a week or so. Today, I call to find out where we are on the “list” because I had yet to receive a call, and when I asked to find out where we were on said list, she became frustrated with me and asked if it was set up with Geraldine. I advised I didn’t know which barber they were scheduled with, that I would just like to know if the appointment was soon or if I should make an appointment elsewhere, to which the woman responded “maybe you should just do that then” and hung up on me. Called almost 3 weeks ago and was told my 2 sons would be put on a list for cuts and was advised I would get a call in a week or so. Today, I call to find out where we are on the “list” because I had yet to receive a call, and when I asked to find out where we were on said list, she became frustrated with me and asked if it was set up with Geraldine. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI took my mom in for a bang trim. My mom has alzheimers and of course didnt remember I’m broke. Lol. My mom decided she wanted color and wanted me to get color too. I didn’t mind getting color so my mom could recognize me. She has no clue who I am with brown hair. Well there was a brand new member working shop this day. I believe her name is Melissa. I must say, this is the best color and hair cuts my mom and i have EVER had. My mom wakes up looking gorgeous! I barely have to touch her hair. I swear it’s like an amazing magic haircut. Mine I can finally put down! The best part was the price! I was ready to cry until she told me how much we owed. I took my mom in for a bang trim. My mom has alzheimers and of course didnt remember I’m broke. Lol. My mom decided she wanted color and wanted me to get color too. I didn’t mind getting color so my mom could recognize me. She has no clue who I am with brown hair. Well there was a brand new member working shop this day. I believe her name is Melissa.
