I should preface this by saying my hair is very hard to cut. Countless places have messed up bad cutting my hair. On the other hand these guys do a perfect job. By far the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten. I even plan on driving 3 hours home from college just to get it done here!

I would just like to lavish some well-deserved praise on Old Soul Barbershop, and particularly on Chaz Krouse. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in an old-school barbershop that my parents would’ve brought me to during my childhood in the 80s-90s — but this is the place! Very chill and very relaxed atmosphere, not at all pretentious like these high-end salons where you feel you might not even belong. Older reviews might speak to long wait times, but now with the new appointment system in-place, you know exactly at what time you’ll be getting your haircut, and can walk in 5 minutes before. I got my first haircut at Old Soul Barbershop today and met Chaz — truly a wonderful guy who was upbeat, and easy to talk to, while doing an amazing job. He work was more artistry than anything else — a salon-quality job at non-salon pricing. I will definitely be back on a regularly basis and stick with my barber Chaz. Also, to contrast with older reviews, whereas the Barbershop may once have been cash-only, they now accept credit cards. Thanks for an amazing experience, and I look forward to my next visit!

My boyfriend goes here for his haircuts/shape-ups so he took our son to the man he goes to who’s name is Christian and he did a great job my son loves it and so do I. We’ve found a place we are both comfortable going to and will be going to from now on. My son is autistic and isn’t comfortable in to many settings but this place he did really well in!
