I stopped in for the first time today, and recieved one of the best cuts I’ve had in quite some time. Gabe is a great guy to work with. The atmosphere in his shop is awesome. One single chair makes it feel very personal. He asked me one time what I was looking for and I didn’t have to tell him twice. He started and was finished right on time. Prices are extremely fair compared to other shops in the area. If you haven’t stopped by yet definitely check him out!

What a gem. Traveling for work I’ve tried so many barber shops with so many fails it’s almost sad. I used to go to a shop in town but prices kept creeping up and just got to the point traveling in wasn’t worth it. When we moved I found Gabe immediately and today sealed the deal. Took my 3 boys in there and they absolutely loved it. Plus he let them check things out, ask questions, and play checkers. This was an experience I remember with my father and one of these upcoming trips I’ll bring him, their grandfather, so 3 generations can sit in the same chair and experience an amazing cut, and what I call friendship. Gabe treats each customer with respect and is just a hoot to chat with. A+, only place I will go with my boys.

First time today at Old American Barber Shop and will definitely be back! I’ve been looking a long time for a no frills decently priced barbershop and that’s exactly what this is. Gabe is down to earth, funny, easy to talk to and most importantly a heck of a barber. Love the cut and the company. It’s great to support a small local business run by a local guy. Do yourself a favor and get your haircut by Gabe!

Gabe is a fantastic barber all the way around. Before opening his shop, I used to drive an hour round trip because he is the only person I trust to trim my beard. He’s a real perfectionist, and absolutely does not scimp on quality – whether it’s high quality hair and beard products, the razor shave of the back of the neck, or hot towel at the end of the haircut.
