Chris was great. I brought in my 2 1/2 yr old grandson for his first professional hair cut. He doesn’t like ppl touching his hair very much. Chris was fantastic with him, made him feel at ease and worked very well with him moving quite a bit. I gave him my phone which helped. I was very impressed and very pleased with the atmosphere, kindness and the patience of Chris and the staff. This place has been open for over 61 yrs which was a preference of mine cause I wanted a place with experience and I found it at the Okemos Barber shop. We even traveled 40 minutes to go there. Well worth the time and $ I spent for the hair cut & gas.

Have been going here for years. Always good service and conversation. Due to Covid they have been requiring appointments which is fine. When I called to make one I was told by my barber that he was not vaccinated and would not wear a mask. He knows I have MS and yet he cut my hair a month or so ago with an appointment but without a mask and without telling me he was unvaccinated. Even though I am fully vaccinated the Delta variant puts me at higher risk. It is unconscionable that he treated me without a warning. Dr. Jon Robison
