Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI walked in & immediately after sitting down the woman named Thuy began gluing on my nails. Just moments later, she began talking to another lady there who seemed to be ignoring her. My nails were half glued on when she began pounding on the table & waving her arm around, initially away from me, but then right in front of my face. I asked her if something was wrong & she ignored me. She made a complete mess of my nails, which weren’t great to begin with, but they were all uneven & when I asked her to fix it, she told me “watch out.”At this point, my nails are half done & she’s threatened me twice & I have no idea why. She begins taking a picture of me, and I’ve still never raised my voice, but rather, told her that if she’s having a bad day, I have nothing to do with it & I just wanted what I asked for.When I came in, she quoted me $28 for gel nails & charged me $43 and honestly, just to get out of there I gave it to them, but they are not a gold business & I suggest never going there. There’s too many decent people to give my money to who take pride in their work. Thuy is a bad person & a terrible nail technician. I walked in & immediately after sitting down the woman named Thuy began gluing on my nails. Just moments later, she began talking to another lady there who seemed to be ignoring her. My nails were half glued on when she began pounding on the table & waving her arm around, initially away from me, but then right in front of my face. I asked her if something was wrong & she ignored me. She made a complete mess of my nails, which weren’t great to begin with, but they were all uneven & when I asked her to fix it, she told me “watch out.”

Critical: Professionalism, QualityThis was the most bizarre experience I have ever had in my 20 years of getting my nails done. So I have been a few times now and the first time I walked in it was only the owner working and no customers which did seem odd considering it was Friday. I did not get the shape I asked for but I blew it off as communication error, she also kept turning around and speaking in her language to a door which I assumed was another person however no one ever came out or replied to her. Again I blew it off. (Maybe a kid e-learning?)2 weeks go by and I call to set appointment for fill, reshape, and pedi. Once again no one is there and no other workers. (At first thinking well there is a worker shortage maybe it affected her business too) but 10 min into getting nails done she begins talking in her language to herself again. She kept turning to look directly into a corner where no one is talking, throwing her hands up, and pointing her nail file and saying no no no as if she’s arguing with someone. It was the most awkward and uncomfortable situation ever. I asked her was she the only one at the shop today and she replied yes. Me completely freaked out got out as soon as I could. As for my nail. Wrong shape, different lengths and shapes, and bubbles in gel paint. My thumb broke off within a hour so I was forced to go get it fixed today. The nail was split half missing half there. This lady shaped a nail out of acrylic instead of replacing nail. It looks horrible and feels weak. Now I need a new set on my next day off. And while fixing the nail I know she seen the horrible paint job and didn’t even attempt to fix it. I won’t be back! This was the most bizarre experience I have ever had in my 20 years of getting my nails done. So I have been a few times now and the first time I walked in it was only the owner working and no customers which did seem odd considering it was Friday.
