We love O’Hair. When I say “we,” I mean everyone in my family. We all go to O’Hair and couldn’t be happier! (Unless Tamara came back to provide lash and brow services. I miss her!) We’ve seen Lindsay, Stacey, and Johanna. They are all wonderful. This is the best my hair has ever looked. Lindsay figured out what would look best on me, and now I am a customer for life. I really appreciate when a hair stylist listens to you and also adds their own expertise and vision. I trust the stylists at O’Hair implicitly. I don’t understand some of these reviews. Fees are competitive—and in most cases, more reasonable than other salons. Their cancellation policy is standard. It’s the same everywhere I have gone. And they tell you up front, so it’s not as though they’re pulling a fast one! That’s not how they roll. I now carry O’Hair business cards with me because I get SO many compliments on my hair. (I have no affiliation with them except as a customer.) Everyone is so lovely. I always look forward to my visits to O’Hair—and having complete strangers approach me to comment on how gorgeous my hair is doesn’t hurt either! Thank you to everyone at O’Hair!!!

So they have this policy where you will pay full amount for service if you cancel last minute or don’t show up. I’ve been coming here for three years. The policy didn’t really register with me until I got caught up with family issues and totally forgot about my appointment. I picked up the phone when they called asking if I’m coming but I couldn’t leave my child alone. The lady said that they would charge me for the service. As a retuning customer, I was blown away that this was even thrown at me this way because I clearly didn’t mean to miss my appointment. They did not charge me in the end but the manner in which all of this was handled was not good. The cancellation policy is alienating and quite difficult to enforce. I mean I was not going to pay full price for a service not rendered because something came up. I’m not going back there because I feel like there is this ax over head and if something happens again these people get money because of my mishap or even bad luck. I don’t like the tone that I was spoken. It was all very tacky.

This was the most confusing haircut experience I have ever had in all my years getting my haircut. 1st it started off with the weird deposit thing which I’ve only experienced once at an extremely luxrious hair salon so I don’t really understand why I had to do it here to start with and secondly once they brought me upstairs to get my hair washed that was the fastest I’ve ever had my hair washed I’m pretty sure I was done in about maybe 5 minutes then then the haircut literally only took 20 minutes I have extremely long hair and I requested bangs, debulking, trim and layering with a sharp V shape. I asked my stylist if she was OK with the V shape cause I know it’s not easy and it was hard for me to find a hairstylist that could do a decent V shape and it would take my last regular stylist you know an hour or so and she was done in about 20 minutes and she said how did it look and obviously I was already stunned by how quick and rash I was done with the shampooing so I just said OK and I paid and left and then I looked in the mirror and my God the ends weren’t even even and the V shape was nonexistent.

I really like this place. The front desk is professional and friendly. The space is well designed, no clutter. The stylists are dressed appropriately. My stylist definitely understood what I was looking for in a cut. She mentioned how the stylists are always learning techniques. The price was completely reasonable, and there’s no tipping which is a novel idea. I’m all for tipping for good service, but it was a nice change of pace to be at a place that didn’t have that extra confusion at the end. I will definitely be going back.

Domestic, the owner, has been cutting my hair for more than 10 years. He can never retire! He understands curly hair and cutting hair is only one of his creative outlets. His artistry shows and his love for his business always comes through. I also buy my hair products there. Same price as Amazon so I might as well support the local business. A great place!
