I absolutely love getting my hair done here. Sad that I moved out of state because I’m most comfortable having my hair straightened by Mrs.odalis. I have 3c/b ish hair , thick, and longer than 16’in and she gets my hair right every time.highly recommend 10/10. I DO NOT RELAX MY HAIR so when I say it be perfection it’s exactly that. I will be there typically about 2 1/2hrs simply because again thick hair an it’s long. I always do a deep conditioning an trimming since I only go every 5-6months . Staff is awesome on top of courteous an I been loyal to her shop the last 3years roughly .

I called on the phone to check prices. Odalis could not give a straight number over the phone. I took a chance since nearby salon was booked. For a partial color/wash/set/blowout that turned out average, it cost me $135.00. The stylist had the nerve to mess up the number on the debit card machine. Usually, I would’ve backed down and refused to pay that high price for service received, but I was not in the mood to argue. This was a New Years Eve treat for myself. I do not like how Odalis is so sneaky with the prices. Although Dominicans look more West African than many Black Americans, they have a chip on their shoulder about Black Americans and mentally think they’re white. I bet their fellow Dominicans are not charged as much. I will NOT return!!!

Charged my daughter $85 for a wash/set and 2” cut off her bangs. No moisturizing treatment, simply wash/set for shoulder length hair! A complete rip off!! Will not be returning Ms. Odalis! I strongly recommend calling first to avoid any price surprises. $50-60 is normal but $85 for a Dominican wash/set is not! Protect your hard earn money!!

Odalis did a great job on my daughter’s hair, it just took 4 hours! But worth the wait.

I absolutely love Odalis and the staff!! Odalis treats all of her customers like queens. It is reassuring to go to a place and feel like your hair is always in good hands. It is also good to know people help you feel good about your hair. They always go above and beyond when they do my hair. I colored my hair the first time there. I needed a color change and I love it!!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueBeware!!!!! If you are black and have textured hair do not come here!!! They do not know how to wash and detangle hair if you have type 4 hair. The way my hair was washed caused extreme matting and then they use combs to try to detangle. Thenn use a rat tail comb to further try and detangle. My head was in so much pain i had to get up and try to do it mysef which defeated the whole purpose of getting my hair done. They also denied to use a brush to detangle.I lost so much the photos show about 1/10th of the hair that was ripped out. Please do not go here. Find a boack salon that know how to adjust to different hair texturesBeware!!!!! If you are black and have textured hair do not come here!!! Maria gave me the works! My hair was brittle and dry whenever I walked in…but whenever I walked out my hair was shiny and bouncy and she also clipped my ends! Definitely going back!
