I got my hair done at this salon a few months ago and I’m just now coming back to leave a review because my hair is completely ruined! The girl who did my hair melted my hair off. After bleaching it and washing it off, she brushed it and there was just a bunch of chunks melting off onto the brush. When I pointed it out she tried to make it seem like it was okay and said that I already have a lot of hair anyway and I won’t even notice a difference. But no, there is a huge difference. My hair is thin and extremely damaged now and I am really unhappy. I just never said anything because I’m shy and not the type of person to speak up but I ended up paying a lot and also tipping the hair stylist because she was super nice. I’m extremely disappointed because now I have to cut off a lot of my hair as my ends are super thin and fragile and there’s no reversing the damage.

I’ve been to Octagon three times now, once for a haricut for myself, once for a bayalage color, and I took my daughter here for a haricut. All three times we saw Melissa and all three times were a fantastic experience. Not only is she a skilled stylist, she is sweet and friendly and made us feel pampered and special. I have never had a stylist who did exactly what I asked her to and had such a wonderful personality. I will recommend her to anyone I meet! Thanks Melissa!

I visited this salon on April 29, 2022 for the first time based on the good reviews. Immediately a girl named Eva evaluated my hair and explained the process to follow to achieve the look that I wanted. Everything seemed to be very professional so I made an appointment for May 16 with Joselyn, she was supposedly the only available. The following week they called me and they canceled my appointment because the girl was no longer working there, which is understandable, so I scheduled another appointment for May 17 at 8:00 am. I work 2nd shift and I get off at 2:00am but that day I woke up early to be on time for my appointment when I got there the girl who was gonna styling my hair she did not know what I wanted and she was going to do something totally different from what they had explained to me so she told me if I want to get the look that I want I have to wait for another week to be with another girl that can do highlights because she was level 2 and she can’t do it. Even the prices were gonna be different so I decided to cancel it because there is no communication between them. I hope the manager or the owner of this salon can see this post because they cannot play with the customer time. This salon isn’t cheap but I was looking quality I thought it was going to be a good salon which is hard to find around here. What a waste of time! It’s been almost a month and I haven’t been able to get my hair done. So disappointed.
