I would reconsider getting a massage here. I had a $70 massage and during the massage, I asked the lady not to step on the lower (small) part of my back bc at my previous massage she did and I was injured. I thought “well she didnt know and neither did I”. So I made sure to specifically tell her not to do that this time and she did anyway. I was injured again. The part that really upset me tho is when i was paying, the lady asked me for a tip. I said no. She asked why and I told her “bc you stepped on my back after I asked you not to” She got mad and shooed me out of the place.

Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismI am a licensed massage therapist. Based on the reviews, I decided to try this place out. There was no medical history taken, no consent form signed, no communication at all. At no point was I asked what I’d like worked on (shoulders, back, feet, etc). When I told the therapist that she was going too deep, hurting me, she giggled. I do not think she understood English. I am not sure how they will pass a LARA inspection if they do not take proper medical history and have signed forms from their clients.I am a licensed massage therapist. At no point was I asked what I’d like worked on (shoulders, back, feet, etc). When I told the therapist that she was going too deep, hurting me, she giggled. I do not think she understood English. I got a half hour oil massage and it was great. Good pressure and technique. I will be going back to this place. They use a hot towel at the end and it helps to get all the oil off which I prefer because I don’t like feeling oily after a massage. You can tell that the massage therapist actually knows what they’re doing. They will focus on the muscles that are tight with multiple techniques while staying aware of your skeletal makeup. I highly recommend this place. Make sure to communicate during the massage if the pressure is too hard or too soft and indicate the spots to massage more. This will help Direct the therapist and make the overall massage more enjoyable for you.
