I want to love this place because everyone is very nice and they’re great about getting me in for a last minute appointment- perfect for me because I have a baby and sometimes I’m free for a nail visit last minute. But this most recent visit was really disappointing. I knew my nails were on the shorter side, but she ended up filing them much shorter. Fine, I don’t mind short nails. But the design I asked for was an ombré, and after applying the base coat, they then told me my nails were too short for the ombré I wanted. I asked for a design then, because I didn’t really want plain pink nails, and my nail tech was visibly annoyed at this. I think she tried her best, but the designs did not turn out well at all. By this point I’d been there for quite awhile and needed to get home to feed my baby. There was no way I could have them start over. But I left feeling really bummed out because I don’t like the way they look. I wish they had told me from the beginning that my nails were too short for what I wanted. I would have done something completely different.

I’ve been going somewhere else for awhile but now I don’t know why. Ocean nails is great. I just walked in and they were super busy and was told by the person at the desk that I had to come back at 3. I said I could wait a little bit and Lee said they could get me in. She was really nice. I only had to wait about 5 min. I didn’t even have time to pick a color. Lisa did my nails and she was so nice and gentle. I love the colors they have. My nails look amazing. Much better than the other place and if you sign up you get a birthday coupon which was nice and you earn points each time you go that goes towards services. They even had free Christmas gifts under the tree. Organic massage lotion with a nail brush.Ocean nails is where I’m going from now on. Thank you Lisa and Lee.

Good experience in the salon, but my gel nails lasted exactly one week before they started peeling. Went in to get them redone and they were really busy (not their fault) but now I need to pay someone else to take it off so I don’t destroy my nails.

I have been coming here for almost a year solid to get my nails done. One of the good things I can say about this place is the price is good. First off, it really depends on who you get to do your nails. A couple of the ladies are wonderful and do such an excellent job. Those ladies are meticulous, check in at every phase, do wonderful work, and are gentle and kind. There are a couple here however, that do horrible work and do not take their time. I will not be coming here anymore because the experience is just not consistent. The last time I came in, the lady did not ask what size I wanted my nails and did not check in with me at any phase of the shaping process. I ended up with nails that were not what I asked for, and not the correct size or shape. The only saving grace was the color was correct. She also cut corners and was extremely lazy with her work. She didn’t file at the stages where you are supposed to to make sure you are giving the best nail look possible..this resulted in my nails also looking cheap and not professional. This was infuriating because I know the quality of work that the other ladies have done and it is so ridiculous that you could walk out of the same place with vastly different experiences just because some of the people are not of high caliber as the others. Some of the ladies are very gentle with your hands and kind. The few who aren’t? Are rough and not gentle and I have gotten cut quite a few times. If I could reserve the person that I want I would come in, but they do not even hold reservations for you. They “say” they do when I have called in quite a few times before but when I come in they say they are full and I have to wait 30min to an hour and you just “get who you get”. I will be going somewhere that I can rely on for consistency and have a much better experience with.

me and my sisters were scammed. we paid much more than we should have for deluxe pedicures. what we were told we would pay AND what is expressed on the website was a reasonable price for the pedicure. that is not what we paid. other things that bothered me: not all nail polish was removed before she painted my nails, you can see black under the red. some skin was separated from my nail while trimming and it still stings. i was very disappointed in this experience. i would recommend going almost anywhere else in port orchard, i will not be returning again.

This is the best nail place in town in my opinion! All the ladies that work here are so nice and have great attention to detail. I never feel rushed here. Also as a mom, sometimes i have to bring my toddlers and they are very helpful and never made me feel like a burden for having to bring them. Pedicure, Gel manicures
