I have been going to this particular nail salon for years. Always super accommodating, clean and polite. I had not been in a few months and not sure if it is under new management or new ownership. Whatever the case, I was taken in immediately for a regular pedicure and gel manicure. The technician rushed through both. Which I didn’t mind as my time is valuable. He was “jerky” and “slappy” with my hands when they were not in the position he wanted them. I cashed out at the end and gave the tech 15% and was promptly stopped from walking out the door by another employee telling me to give the tech 20% because they have a small hand written sign on the door that says so. I never saw the sign (my bad). I usually tip over 20% having been in jobs in the past, where tips are your bread and butter. In this instant, the service did not reflect even the 15% I gave. I found the whole experience unsettling. If 20% tip is your new policy, it should be clearly stated. In the end I gave the tech another $4, it was not worth an argument. However, this salon will never get my business again.

I’m an 18 year old girl who’s about to go off to college and wanted to spend time with my mom so we decided to get pedicures together, except once we got there and picked our colors the workers separated us. They took my mom to get her pedicure while I sat there and waited on one of their waiting benches for half an hour until I had enough and just walked out. My mom was also upset as well since we never got that mother daughter time we were hoping for. This was some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and my mom and I will not be coming back. I’ve worked in customer service since I was 14 and I understand it can be difficult but I was completely ignored and neglected while my mom was on the other side of the room getting her toes done. When two people come in together you expect they would want sit together, clearly this place can’t accommodate to that. Don’t come here if you want quality time with someone.

I had not been before, but brought my daughter and her friend in for manicures, for a treat. The staff was friendly and professional and the place was immaculately clean as well as very soothing – with understated paint colors, a small fountain and instrumental music in the background. They had a fabulous selection of nail polishes (significantly more color and style options than the place I have traditionally gone, in Newport) and their prices were very reasonable! I will absolutely return there!

This was my first time here , had a pedicure, I couldn’t relaxed because the person I got was rough on my feet and smelled like cigarettes. It was also hard to communicate, and at the time of payment the lady demanded that I included a 20% tip. I felt taken advantage of , because I told her that it was my first time having s pedicure . I will not come here again, obligated to give a 20% tip for a service that was not satisfactory. I don’t recommend this place .

If I could give negative stars I would. I had come in to get a gel manicure and it was terrible. The nail tech (Danny) did not even go all the way to my cuticle so there was a massive gap between my cuticle and the start of the gel color. He also did not go to the ends of my nails so there were white lines at the ends that I had to file down myself. On my thumb there was a huge bubble that actually made the gel polish come off in about 3 days. I had come in to get my nails done because I was about to travel for a work event and wanted my nails to look really nice. Instead I was left with a terrible manicure. I had left a review on yelp and the owner (Annie) reached out to me and offered to redo my manicure for free. i attempted to schedule a time with her as I work a lot of hours. When that happened she just stopped responding to me all together. At that point I requested a refund. I am in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card company as she refuses to respond to me now. If you are in the area AVOID THIS PLACE. They are rude and do not care when they mess up.
