This Massage spa just opened up on Manhattan and Dupont so my gf and I decided to stop by! They don’t have couples rooms, but we both were done at the same time in separate rooms. I’m reviewing this as a new business since I believe they have been open for less than a month. The massage was great! I think I may have had two different masseuses, one seemed a little less experienced and one seemed more experienced. When they bring you into the little room, strip down to your underwear and lay face down with your nose and mouth in the hole of the table. (I only add this because they didn’t give instructions, but since I’ve been to others I know the drill)

Whatever you do steer clear. Not at all legitimate. No oil. No sheet to cover with, but as discovered later that’s only so they can remove your underwear and assault you. You’ll hear everything through the paper thin walls while petrified, and to make matters worse, if that memory doesn’t stick with you, the neck pain from inexperienced masseuses digging rocks into it will. Avoid at all costs.

I’ve lived in Manhattan for 11 years and am an athlete so have found amazing value for money with these spots. However, the masseuse (which I highly doubt she was) was acting strange and giggly and then left the room. I got undressed but she quickly came back in and stayed in the room giggling so I asked for privacy. She then left. When she returned she put her hand out laughing and said “pay money now” at which point I laughed and left. Utterly bonkers. I advise to avoid.Definitely a dodgy place. I’ve lived in Manhattan for 11 years and am an athlete so have found amazing value for money with these spots. Amazing deep massage finished with a cupping session, which was a great enhancement to the massage. The staff and masseuse were super sweet and friendly. Loved it.
