I have been going to OC Electrolysis & Skin Care for several years, and to say that electrolysis and Joanie have changed my life drastically for the better is an understatement! I went in search of a permanent hair removal solution for my PCOS related facial hair, and laser was not an option since it can actually have the opposite effect for women with PCOS. I found the OC Electrolysis website and was very impressed with their credentials and the fact that they not only do electrolysis, they teach it around the world. As soon as I met Joanie in our complimentary consultation I knew I had come to the right place. She is very knowledgeable and sets clear expectations for this process of permanent hair removal. It’s not a quick and easy fix, it is a commitment, but that commitment has been worth every second as I look in the mirror every day and no longer hide my face due to unwanted hair. Joanie and the Team at Oc Electrolysis are amazing! I’m @ that age where hormones would like to welcome you with some unexpected and unsightly new hairs! I found Oc Electrolysis by chance and realized they work with insurance for our Trans community too! I’m a Nurse and when I researched, I discovered that laser won’t work for my blonde hairs. THIS WORKS FOR ALL HAIRS AND SKIN COLORS. I went in for a consultation and knew I was in good hands. The office is very clean, like a doctors office turned day spa. They are very punctual and communicative about appointments. I’ve never waited. I just recently cancelled my last appointment because the hairs I hated aren’t growing back anymore! If you are determined and want permanent results this is the place to go. I was so impressed and excited that I’ve decided to go to school to learn how to do this too!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Joanie and Johanne. I’ve only had the pleasure of meeting them, but I’m certain with the high standards they uphold the other electrolysis inevitably do as well! It’s definitely considered a luxury having access to this kind of professionalism and 1 am beyond grateful to have come across this place. Prior to finding this gem I received treatment with another electrolysis for 2 years. Unfortunately, very little progress was made with my facial hair. Since it was my first time receiving treatment I didn’t know what kind of results I should’ve expect and in what time frame should have expected them. You tend to be extremely doubtful (about your expectations or thoughts in general with how things should be going) when you’re up against what the professional is telling you. Fast forward to a little over a month ago of me finding these hair zapping queens I’ve onlv had 7 sessions done here and l’ve seen more results in this short span of time than I ever did in those whole 2 years of treatment prior to this. We all know the burden and insecurities that arise in having hair in unwanted places, that’s why I felt compelled to leave a review. If I could potentially help others easily navigate through their journey of finding a qualified electrolysis who can quickly and efficiently get rid of those pesky hairs for good, I’m all for it! Take my word from my very unfortunate experience, who you get treatment done by matters and not every practitioner is created equal.
