Diane was the perfect stylist to restore my hair back to normal and give it the perfect color and highlights to match my skin tone. I’m on vacation in OBX, it’s my birthday and I wanted to get my hair done. What to do…I read reviews! I liked what I read about OBX Hair Salon and decided to take a chance. Boy am I glad I did!!! All the ladies were warm and welcoming. The other two customers that were there while I was, left with beautiful hair. I wanted purple foils done on my salt and pepper hair. After my consultation, Mary Ellen got to work. She advised that we use the Paul Mitchell color instead of the way I described that I had had done before. The results were better than I could have hoped for!! Whether you are here for vacation or a resident and looking for a stylist don’t hesitate to head to OBX Hair Salon! Thank you again! I had an great experience at OBX Hair Salon. I made an appointment for hair and makeup for my wedding. I ended up having to change the time due to weather and Melody was so patient and understanding with me and was able to accommodate me on my big day. My hair and makeup were beautiful and even stood up to some crazy wind on the beach. Absolutely wonderful experience.

Melanie is awesome! I had the best experience, while on vacation I desperately needed a new look and after reading some reviews I decided to go for it. I am so glad I did! Melanie was great she gave me the exact look I wanted. I have difficult hair it is fine and wavy with frizz and I am usually not happy with my hair when I get it cut but its been a week and I am still loving it! Melanie really took her time and considered my hair texture during the cut. You have to check out her art too! Her paintings are fabulous, she made me feel right at home. Just an all around wonderful experience. Guess I need to make vacation plans every 6 weeks so I can keep my look up!
