My gel extension nails were not filed evenly nor was the French manicure design even, technician did not compare both hands to see if it was even. My pedicure also smudged and messed up after she sprayed the dry spray. For 3 hours and over $100 later I am SO DISAPPOINTED. I never leave reviews but this time I had too, the bare minimum is making sure the nails are filled evenly. My polish isn’t even symmetrical on both sides, I’m embarrassed. I did speak up during the appt unfortunately the language barrier may have gotten in the way. I’ve been here a few times, some great, some good experiences hence why I drive 30 min, definitely won’t be doing that now. Flying to a wedding tomorrow and can’t believe how disappointed I am. I will rewrite review if they are willing to redo nails.

I’ve got my nails done here by “Blanquita” twice, and both times she’s been great. I love her attention to detail. She takes whatever time it takes to do a great job. I never felt rushed by her. They also seem to use very good products, because my nails lasted more then usual (about 1.5 weeks) after I got them done there… and I get regular nail polish, not gel or any of those other things they do. So it’s safe to say that I’m a customer… I’ll definitely continue to go back to get my nails done by Blanquita.

Just came home from this salon and I will definitely be coming back!! Gabriella took her time and did my pedicure that came out perfect!! I could tell she was a perfectionist ! I also got 2 braids done. I washed my hair before coming and then Fanny did my braids! She also took her time and did a great job!! I loved both my pedicure and my braids ! Thank you so much ladies!! Everyone was very nice and I found parking right in front of the salon. Parking seems easy around the area which is always a plus! Definitely give them a shot !

I can’t stop staring at/admiring my beautiful nails by Isabela! I had seen pretty and creative designs on Google before going, so I didn’t have a set idea of what I wanted. Isa showed me some pictures of her work to choose from and honestly, she outdid even herself on my hands! Soooo beautiful and such detailed, careful work! I will definitely be back!

Truly had a horrible experience at this nail salon. I called prior for a walk in appointment and the price given to me on the phone was different then what they charged me. The service was gel manicure and pedicure (it was not uv gel either just gel nail polish) with no design was 75$ that took over TWOOO hours. On top of that the establishment isn’t that clean and does not use individual pedicure covers for the pedicure stations. The towels were raggy with stains. The owner or cashier was rude and don’t believe anyone should go here it is overpriced plus the quality of the nail polish isn’t good it chipped within a week. There is a better nail salon with good quality nail polish, much cheaper than this nail salon’s price (same service there is $60 and lasted TWO FULL WEEKS) is in Newark is cheaper or if you need another local nail salon on 74/75th broadway in Guttenberg if alternatives are needed.

Newest Update on 5/18/22: Please read the entire review for a fair assessment. I went back yesterday as per my appointment to rectify the situation. I figured I might as well have a pedi while there because sandal season has arrived. Right off the bat Cecilia was running late for my fill-in, but had me sit at the pedi station. My nail polish was removed and my feet soaked while I waited. The technician who did my pèdi was nice and everything was fine until she left me to go microblade someone’s eyebrows and took so long that I nixed the idea of a gel pedi and just asked for regular polish and didn’t even let it dry so that I can get out of there. Cecilia came to finish my pedi since the eyebrows seem to be so important and by this time it was 6:09 p.m. (my appointment was for 5) and my son was still waiting for me on the couch in his uniform. It was obvious there wouldn’t be time for a fill-in so I told them I’d come back. To be fair, they were all super nice, but it’s clear that time-management isn’t their strong suit. Cecilia didn’t charge me for my pedi and I told her I’d come back, which I did this morning. I called and asked if this was a good time and it was and she took her time to really give my nails some much needed tlc and discounted me for this fill-in, but that’s not why I’ll be back. I’ll be back because they usually do a great job and are nice, I just know now to go when I’m not pressed for time and to accept that afternoon appointments are probably not the best to make here, although when you work regular hours it’s hard to avoid. Overall, I still think they’re the best I’ve gone to in the area out of the 3 I tried. Let’s hope they get better with keeping appointments

Just moved into the neighborhood and walked password this place thinking it might be busy being mothers day weekend and all and to my surprise I walked in and someone greeted me asked me what I wanted and took me straight to the back to get my nails done. The woman doing my nails was an absolute doll she was tired I was her last client but she took care of me and we laughed and all of the stuff was so polite and friendly I definitely will be coming back im happy it’s so close to my new place.

OMG I’m so happy I found this place. For one, they do everything. I just sit and get everything done at Obsession. From brows to my nails ( which I LOVE) hair, make up, hunnie I just sit and get beautified like I deserve to. BEST PLACE IN THE WNY AREA
