I was in Champaign to visit my parents and I was looking for a massage spa. I gave birth to my baby girl about 6 months ago and since then I have been religiously going for monthly deep tissue massages in Peoria (home). I went to Oasis based on reviews and this was the most painful deep tissue massage. When I felt pain for the first time, I requested the massage therapist (guy) to decrease pressure and he did. But then I realized that the pain was not because of the pressure, it was because he was applying deep pressure on bones and not muscles, and he was angling and directing his hands in ways that was absolutely painful. This was the first massage in my life where I felt I just want to go home and not be here. I don’t know if the guy who massaged was new or what, but none of the deep tissue massages I’ve had felt painful and wrong like this one.

Best hour of my day! I didn’t get the name of my therapist but he gave me a fantastic massage. He didn’t just rub my back, he was purposeful and he made sure to use the time to target on the area that was hurting.
