I wasn’t going to leave a review but … I got my nails done yesterday here and the manicure lady cut me in 4 places deeply when first filing the acrylic nail down, then a bubble formed under my nail. She said sorry, but then later proceeded to burst the bubble with the electric nail driller. She kept apologizing which is nice, but the wounds were very painful. I have never ever been cut like this in a nail salon before. I went to a nail salon on Aurora Ave in Seattle (not very nice area) and the same acrylic nail set was done for $55. Just $5 cheaper, but I was not cut at all. The wounds feel like very deep paper cuts and I am still in pain now. Also, at the end when I left a $5 tip for the manicure because of the sloppy experience, I think I was laughed at by her to the other lady. I am sad and in shock. I just wanted to post this to warn other future customers.

The owner has responded and has claimed I’m dishonest. Let me be clear: my daughter, myself and my friend watched your employee CLIP my daughters toenails when she asked HER NOT TO. You should be ashamed, you are the one being dishonest. The artist who did my daughters pedicure was extremely rough & aggressive, and resulted in the edge of my daughters big toe bleeding (when we got home) and her not being able to walk. She was visibly limping when we left and the owner is lying.

Please DO NOT come here to get acrylics! I had the worst job done and went back for them to fix it and they made me feel uncomfortable the whole time I was there making it obvious they were talking about me in their language which is super disrespectful and the lady “fixing” my nails was trying to make me believe I was in the wrong and my nails were “fine” if I can post pictures I will! Just so you can see how bad of a job she did, they look like those fake nails you buy at Walmart and put them on at home seriously so bad and to pay $45 for this is a rip off I don’t know how they get away with such a bad service.

The ladies were friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. We were educated about gel polish (shellac) which was unfamiliar to me. I will certainly go back. I felt bad as I should have tipped them more, just ran over budget this time but will make it up to them in the future. This business is run efficiently and professionally. I came in with my daughter to this local Salam for the first time. We called in an got an appointment for about an hour later. We were see right away. The ladies were friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. We were educated about gel polish (shellac) which was unfamiliar to me. I will certainly go back.
