Critical: Cleanliness, Quality, ValueMy nails weren’t exactly what I asked for. He offered to do ombré instead so I said that was fine. What I originally wanted was a very nude acrylic color plain and simple short and tapered square. They were very busy this time. I’ve been there about 4 times and never had my nails turn out the way they did. The shaping was off. Acrylic was laid crooked as shown here. The lengths of nails were off and uneven. I kept showing him when the shaping and length was off but I think that he got a little frustrated by me noticing things that when I noticed more things that were off, I didn’t mention it. They did not use fresh files or sanding belts. The owner did my nails. I did tip, but for the pedicure. The people that do pedicures are different then those who do the manicures especially depending on what you’re looking for. When I removed the acrylic, I noticed they used MMA ( the liquid they use before dipping into acrylic), which is ILLEGAL to use on nails due to the damage it can cause. It burned after the nails were set, was super hard to remove, and when used, it can turn the natural nail yellow, lead to permanent nail loss, numb the nail and skin around it and can lead to irritation and air blockage. My nails weren’t exactly what I asked for. He offered to do ombré instead so I said that was fine. What I originally wanted was a very nude acrylic color plain and simple short and tapered square. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI went here for a pedicure. The older lady that did my toes cut too close on my big toe cuticle. And then when I asked her for the spa pedicure she told me my feet were too soft for the cheese grater and the it would “cut my feet”. Which is not true. This was certainly not my first pedicure and I haven’t had one In a while so my feet definitely could handle and needed the extra skin removal. She also unevenly filed my toes and left blank spots on the sides of the nails with the nail polish. Also my friend who was served by an older gentleman was given A LOT of attitude when she said she did not like the color and wanted a new one. And then when I asked her for the spa pedicure she told me my feet were too soft for the cheese grater and the it would “cut my feet”. Which is not true.
