Geeta is the worst hair stylist, she colored my hair , charged me close to $300 for highlights and cut and the end result was bleached patches all over my head. I am late in review, its been a few months now but Seema, another hairstylist was witnessed when i complained and while i was talking with Geeta about her experiment on my hair, Geeta just grabbed her bag and walk out from Aveeda and get inside Macys for shopping. She is extremely unprofessional and rude, and claimed that she has 20 years of experience.

I walked into 2Sun Salon in Sterling VA wanting my roots done, walked out with a whole new AWEFUL dark brown almost black color. Went from sandy blond to almost black and I hated it, and I expressed that clearly to the guy who did it. LUCKY for me I walked into Oasis today and was met with understanding and sympathetic people. Walid, took me by the hand and promised it would be alright and he would take care of me…..and he kept his promised. Between Walid, Tina and Ahlam I walked out a happy lady. I can not say enough good things about them. For me the dark color made me look old and it was all wrong for my skin tones. But I am happy to say my hair color is very close to what I had (minus the gray) before anyone touched my hair. A huge thank you to all those great people at Oasis Aveda Spa & Salon.

Made the mistake of getting a manicure here. The nail tech cut three of my nail beds and made one of them bleed profusely for 10+ minutes. She was apologetic but the owner didn’t even offer to reduce the price of the service after my terrible experience. After asking for a deduction, she only reduced the price by $5, with no apology.

Had a great experience! I botched my hair with an at home highlight kit and was desperate to get it fixed. I was able to schedule an appointment the day I called and Mike fixed it. I was very specific that I didn’t want warm/golden tones and he was very accommodating. Did a great job! I have bounced around from salon to salon but I will definitely be back. It’s also a convenient location in the mall – get some shopping down while you’re out!

The staff left a memorable impression! I originally went for a full hair dye and felt the color was more red-ish than what I’d hoped. After I explained my feelings to the owner, she invited me back and genuinely strived to make me happy… and I absolutely loved my hair after she worked her magic! I have plenty hair salon horror stories that can make anyone cringe, and as a result, am hesitant in trusting stylists. After my recent experience with the owner, I can confidently say that Oasis has won my future business. Thank you for your customer service and congratulations on all of your success, it’s very well deserved. I’ll see you ladies soon!

Critical: ProfessionalismI made an appointment for a facial treatment for a special occasion, and was looking forward to treating myself. When I walked in, I was greeted at the desk with a nasty, accusing tone “you didn’t answer the phone when we called you”, and then informed that the esthetician was running about 10 minutes late. She was correct that I had not answered the phone, 7 minutes before my appointment, because I was checking out at the Macy’s next door and it’s rude to answer your phone when being provided a service. I let her know that I didn’t mind waiting a little, and was shown to the sofa in the waiting area in the back. Fifteen minutes later, the esthetician arrived and again, in a nasty tone, admonished me for not answering the phone. No friendly greeting. No apology for being late. Just pure rudeness. The tardiness, while not ideal, could have been overlooked. Love this place! The only place I go to, to get my hair done. They are super respectful and kind. I love getting my hair done by Sima in particular. She always does an incredible job and puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day! They are especially respectful and accommodating for women who cover their hair. As long as I’m in this area, I’ll never go to another hair salon!

Not only was I a walk in my first time here, I had no idea what I wanted I just knew I needed a change. My stylist went above and beyond and I promised I would come back to see her. My next trip in , the first stylist wasn’t there, I was nervous about trying a new person, but she went above and beyond and even dried my hair to make sure she didn’t miss any trimmings. I haven’t found a reasonable GOOD salon in a long time, but this place blows it out of the park. If you want people you can trust with your hair, come here
