I have been seeing Val for a couple of years now. Regular deep tissue massages for my massively screwed up neck/shoulders/etc. were at times the only reason I was able to function at all! I had seen 5 chiropractors, only one of which helped me in the long term, but I needed something “extra” for those stubborn aches and pains in my muscles and joints, so I began seeing Val. Within a few weeks, I went from being in almost constant pain to seeing a steady decrease in pain and even had days with no pain at all (practically unheard of before I started massage therapy). Val listens to her clients, does her best to meet each of their needs, creates a relaxing and comfortable environment, and puts her heart and soul into her work. Her clients are not just a number to her; she truly cares about their well-being and quality of life. She also gives a great Swedish massage! Her work is worth every penny and the rates are very reasonable. I am so glad she chose this line of work because clearly this was her calling! If you need a great massage therapist, GO SEE VAL!!! 🙂

Valerie is a great therapist. She listens to her clients about what they want out of the massage and is great at targeting problem areas. I saw her for tightness in my legs from running and I felt much better by the time I left. Definitely recommend! Her rates are also reasonable.

Val was amazing at explaining what we were trying to accomplish, focusing on addressing the particular pains or aches I had, I was only visiting family in SC while on vacation but if I lived out there I would absolutely be a regular to work out some of my chronic aches and pains, and Ill be calling ahead of future vacations out that way to make sure and get a spot reserved while in town!
