Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, ValueMoving to Oakdale this year, I had hoped to find a local place to get my boys haircuts. Otherwise, I’d be driving west 30 minutes out of the way. I am so glad I found Alex at Oakdale Barbershop. First, the cuts are great. You can tell Alex knows exactly what to do dependent on the customer in the chair. My wife is very picky and she is thrilled every time they come home.Next, Alex is amazing with the kids. I have multiple with special needs. He makes them comfortable and has the demeanor that is very friendly, pleasant, and welcoming. Moving to Oakdale this year, I had hoped to find a local place to get my boys haircuts. Otherwise, I’d be driving west 30 minutes out of the way. I am so glad I found Alex at Oakdale Barbershop. First, the cuts are great. You can tell Alex knows exactly what to do dependent on the customer in the chair. My wife is very picky and she is thrilled every time they come home.

I took my 2 year old son here for his first haircut. If you’re looking for a barber shop to take your child to for their first haircut, this is the place. As soon as you walk in, you see a wall of pictures of kids who got their first haircut here. There are toys for them to play with while they wait. Alex was so great with my son. My son wasn’t keen on the idea of getting his haircut. Alex played with some of the toys with my son when we got there until he was comfortable. Overall the experience was great. My son was happy and I was happy with the result. Alex even gave us a little bag with my sons hair in it. On the way home, my son was asking to go back and get his haircut again. We will definitely be back for his next cut.

Google search and family member recommended we take our 1.5 year old here for his first haircut and I’m so glad we did! The shop had toys and a fish tank, and our barber (owner?) was awesome! He patiently and confidently started cutting and did a great job doing exactly what we wanted. He also had little baggies ready to catch my sons curls from his first hair cut. We will be coming here for all his haircuts! So impressed with this hidden gem of a barber.

Alex is truly the best with kids! My kids wouldn’t sit with anyone. Alex is patient, kind and professional. The kids love him and I drive a half hour to him because the place is always clean and happy atmosphere. I like how he sprayed sanitizer on my kids hands after this haircut. He has Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer readily available at the shop for customers. My wife and I recommend this barbershop to everyone. Haircuts and shaves are great.

Today was the first time we came here! My husband and son have been looking for a good barber for almost a year now, since we’ve been in Bohemia. We are so HAPPY we came here!!!
