** editing to add that I now have a Paronychia infection on my toes with very painful, infected blisters. When I called to follow up with the shop, the woman I spoke with said that she reviewed video footage and said I had a great time. I was trying to keep from crying because of how painful the pedicure was and how terrible my manicure looked. I’m now having to treat this infection with antibiotics and topical bacterial/analgesic. This whole experience has made me want to never let anyone near my hands and feet ever again.

I’m writing to see if anyone else has noticed inconsistencies at the shop. I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure, was talked into doing dip powder because it would last longer and maintain the health of my nails. After a really great pedicure I sat down for my dip manicure and was disappointed. My hands themselves were not actually manicured at all, the nails were just clipped short and nicked in a few places causing me to bleed. My hands were then put into the dip powder, blood still on them, and were left feeling rough and scratchy even after the clear coat. My fingers are in pain and the nails feel so tight.I’m saddened as this was my first experience with dip polish, that I spent a decent amount of money for this, and that this followed such a great pedicure! At the very least, there should have been cuticle care and I should’ve been told to sanitize my hands after they had been bleeding before being told to put them in the dip powder.

This was my first time going to this salon and I am more than pleased. The prices are good for the services and the lady doing my nails was so sweet. This place is the reason I now do my own nails. I went with something specific in my head, the nail tech pushed me so hard to do something else that I caved, and hated it. I have never had a more thick acrylics on my nails, and I bite them off a week later. This was beginning of 2022. Been doing my own nails and it is so much better than what they did to my nails. Never went back and never will.
