Zero stars on review for this place. This is the second time that it has happened to me when the therapist did not show up and was not answering the phone when staff tried to contact Amanda. What if it was the other way around where the client did not call and did not show up? Guess what? They will still charge you. Do you think I was offered a complementary massage for their mishap? No. As I do understand that emergencies happen (if that is the case), I would like for NV massage to have a plan B, since that is not the first time that it has happened and a complementary massage rather than ‘I’m sorry, you will need to reschedule’. I was getting my massages here because their prices were decent but have been going up rather fast, every year. And now I see that their massages are going to increase again by $10 starting June, 2022. At this rate they are going to charge as much as any other massage places, might as well go to a different place. Very disappointed, to say the least!

This place has a poor business model and questionable ethics. I left more stressed than when I came. Like others have said, I also had my gift certificate denied. I was given a gift certificate to NV Massage Therapy a few years ago for my birthday. Because of the pandemic, I waited to get a massage until today. After my 60-minute massage, I went to pay with my gift certificate. They declined my gift certificate because it was 2-3 years old. There was no expiration date anywhere on the certificate, but they still refused to redeem it. They stated there was an expiration policy on their website, but didn’t bother mentioning that to me when I booked my appointment and told them I would be using a gift certificate. I don’t feel that it’s my responsibility to search a website to make sure my gift certificate is still valid. Gift certificates should clearly state on them if they expire, and I was shocked that they refused to honor my gift. I explained that I hadn’t used it because of the pandemic, to which the owner said that she had a business to run. She said that, except for one month, they had remained open, and that it was my choice if I wanted to quarantine. She also said it wasn’t valid because her staff hadn’t signed the gift certificate, and then hinted that it was probably someone’s fault who had since been fired. However, I should not have been punished for their oversight.

Amazing massage with Mia, she listened to any and all comments I had about what hurt or didn’t and she made sure to actually have a good conversation all be it it was all just small talk, made it feel more comfortable for a first time appointment. For the love of god if you have a back ache or sore shoulder(s). Neck tightness or just want to feel good for a day make an appointment. It’ll be the best day you’ll have

Staff was friendly and all but as far as massages not a good experience. Got the deep tissue and it was more comparable to a skin rub. I had to continously ask for more pressure, which unfortunately was not applied. Quite possible I had a singular expierience. Left still rubbing my neck. I appreciate their preparedness to create a better experience.
