THE BEST! Helen at NuYu has been helping me with my coarse curly hair for years. I go in a few times a year for keratin treatments for my unruly hair, this process takes ~3 hours but is totally worth it (pictures of before and after). I have been coming to see Helen at Nu Yu for several years. I was having hair breakage and loss but still wanted to keep coloring. The Aveda products they use are so much gentler on ny hair but give the same fantastic results. Helen is great at listening to what I want and suggesting changes. I have been going to this salon for 4 years and recommend it highly. When I went the first time, Debbie (my stylist) made great suggestions about my hair color, toning down the brassy orange I hadn’t even noticed until she fixed it. I’m always happy with my haircuts, which she often spends a lot of time on after she dries my hair, so that the style is sure to work after I leave the salon and style it myself. All the stylists have the same careful, thoughtful approach, and are friendly and fun. On top of liking my hair, I enjoy the time I spend in the shop. Definitely a great choice!
