Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’ve had my hair done here 4 times and all of the stylists have been extremely kind a done a great job. The most recent time I’ve gone Erin was my stylist and she did an amazing job and made sure to make me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I’ve had my hair done here 4 times and all of the stylists have been extremely kind a done a great job. The most recent time I’ve gone Erin was my stylist and she did an amazing job and made sure to make me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. The stylist is very experienced, the facilities are homey and clean and the owner is very friendly. The people that schedule appointments are also very accommodating. I love this salon! I go to Kassy. She is absolutely incredible and very intelligible in every area. She is also very down to earth and personable. I used her for my wedding because I knew she would do a fantastic job, and I couldn’t have imagined a better turnout. I absolutely love this place! Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI went to Missy for over a year and told her every time I wanted a full, heavy highlight with the icy-blonde result. Every visit I paid for a full highlight but only received a partial (the entire underneath of my hair was never touched), toner and a haircut. My total was usually around the $160-$180 range, before gratuity. Yes, my fault for continuing to waste my time and money there, but she was friendly and I thought maybe I’m not explaining what I want very well. So each visit I’d stress that I wanted a very full, heavy highlight with that icy-blonde, cool tone. Never happened. She’d stand behind me talking to me in the mirror pulling out random pieces of my hair saying, “See, this piece is that icy color. We’re getting there”. Over a year! Actually may had even been closer to two years…no lie! Here’s the kicker…my last visit was June 18, 2020. Remember above I stated that every visit was a full highlight, toner and a haircut. Everyone knows highlights cost more than just an all over color, right? I messaged her on Facebook with a pic of the same color I had been telling her I wanted every other time and said let’s just do an all over color (since she hadn’t been touching the underneath at all with the “full highlights” I’d been paying for). So, I get the cheaper version of hair color; a single process and toner opposed to a full highlight and toner, and NO haircut this time. I walked out of there with YELLOW hair and WHITE roots. It was awful. I couldn’t wait to get home and out of the public and I cried driving home. Now remember earlier when I said every other visit I was charged around that $160 to $180 range? Guess what I was charged this time? $280.00!! So, a hundred dollars more for a single process instead of my usual full highlight, and NO haircut this time. She said she had to use extra toner this time and that was the price difference. So, a hundred dollars of extra toner for my very fine, short hair?? Who pays almost $300 for a single process color?! Last I checked, we weren’t in Hollywood! And to make things even better, I looked like I went to Walgreens and bought peroxide and dipped my head in it. What??! Two months later and I’m still livid. My hair is so fried from her that I have just been wearing it in a ponytail every day because it’s too damaged to color it yet, so I just hide it with hats and sports bands and whatever else I can use. Another girl did her best to fix my hair the next day, and she was amazing. I wish I could remember her name. Ask for the bubbly, sweet thin girl with the short brunette hair, or just ask for anyone but Missy ‍♀️ Also…..the new owner literally told me she knows nothing about hair ‍♀️ Good luck!Update…My response to the owners response: I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. How did it look like I was happy? I was fighting back tears. The girl that did her best to fix it the next day could only do so much. My hair feels like plastic and it’s stretchy like elastic. I have so much breakage and the stylist the 2nd day was able to get out some of the yellow and tone down my roots so they weren’t ghost-white anymore, but it still looks like a trashy box bleach job. I have root growth now but I’m too afraid to get them touched up because if anymore bleach touches the rest of my hair it may just fall out. I have months and months and months of letting it grow and babying it before I can do anything with it. Thankfully, I’m still working from home. I can’t barely run a comb through it. I have to leave conditioner in it after my showers just so I can get a comb through it. It’s just awful. The texture, the color, everything about it. I’m not just being obnoxious, my hair is ruined. My new girl has to give me trims and deep conditioning treatments every two weeks just trying to get it back to normal.
