Critical: Punctuality, Quality, ValueMy friend and I went in for 8am manicures. They didn’t show up until 10 after and we had to wait as they set up.they were very nice and welcoming. The nail tech started doing my manicure while still having gel on and was super rough on my cuticles. She ended up cutting me twice on one of my fingers. To top it off, she applied the gel by dabbing it on instead of brushing it on. It looked a mess by the end. All the nails were different shapes. Didn’t have me wash my hands after shaping and buffing but used alcohol spray. After the curing of the gel she didn’t wipe it with acetone like you normally should but instead used oil. The finger nail tips weren’t even painted. You could still see my old color around the edges as well. I don’t understand why it was such a terrible job but I paid anyways and tipped because it was a service done. I later went back in for refund because I hated them. I made an appointment for 1pm the same day to get them redone because they were embarrassing. My friend experienced the same issues and even had TWO nail tech’s on her hands to help save her manicure. My friend and I went in for 8am manicures. They didn’t show up until 10 after and we had to wait as they set up.they were very nice and welcoming. The nail tech started doing my manicure while still having gel on and was super rough on my cuticles. She ended up cutting me twice on one of my fingers. Mid-way through I had TWO technicians working on trying to save my pinkie nails, they had to be painted and cured multiple times. We were charged full price, the staff apologized for my botch job. SO AWFUL! We had 8am appointments and the staff didn’t show up until 8:10ish. The staff was very nice but did such a terrible job. My tech was briefed on what to do as I was sitting in her chair which makes me question her license status. Positive: Cleanliness, QualityI had a great experience at Nunes nails, they provide quality services on timing, in a clean environment! NOT rushed although the lady doing my pedicure did cut me a tad bit she was able to clean it up using alcohol solution as other places typically do not. I recommend.
