Number 1 Nails is in a close location to Fort Knox & a pretty neighborhood area. Walked in with a group of 3 and quickly greeted. Short wait. Was clean and organized. Went with the deluxe pedicure which was fabulous!! Prices are right on point. The lady giving me a pedicure took her time and put me in a relaxed state of mind. Great customer service & pedicure turned out great. Highly recommend.

I called around to other nail places because my nail salon was closed, everywhere I called wanted $15 per child. One place wanted $25 per child and all they wanted was there nails polished, I called #1 nails and they only charged me $5 per child, which keep in mind I had My 3 girls and my niece, I’d say this is the best $40 I spent that day, and in case anyone is wonder, each of the girls gave there person a $5 tip.

I never ever write reviews but I have also never had my nails look so awful. I just moved here from Texas. I have been getting my nails done the exact same back home for the last 2 years. An overlay with black dip powder. My nails have always been beautiful. I don’t know if there was a communication barrier or what happened but what they did to my nails was complete trash. They even switched techs when I was trying to express (politely) that my nails were all wrong. My nails are uneven and lumpy. The second tech told me they do things differently wherever you go and no. Is Talent different? Yes, but a black powder overlay should be the same everywhere. I came here from the recommendation of a friend and will never ever come here again. I paid $55 for awful nails and now have to find somewhere else to re-do them. I politely expressed that I was very unhappy with my nails and was still charged full price for them. No offer to fix them. The tech said “that’s all I can do.” I’m just extremely upset.

The first time I came here, it wasn’t that bad. My second time around though, I’m not a fan and won’t be returning. The lady that did my pedicure filed a callus I had on the side of my foot so much that it caused my foot to split and it hurts so badly to walk on. I have 2 kids and am pregnant while working full time so self care on my feet have been on the back burner and they were definitely in need of some work, but I feel that she overdid it and because of that it hurts something fierce. I have to walk on my heel rather than flat foot because of it. To top that off, charging someone to remove gel polish I found out is pretty common so it’s not really an issue, I usually go to 2 other places that don’t charge me, but the fact that I wasn’t told in the beginning I was going to be charged for her using an electric file to remove the polish at all until the end, AFTER she charged my card already and I saw the price was higher and had to ask about it is frustrating and misleading. To top it off she pulled my card out too quickly when charging it so because of that she had to redo it and I was double charged and will have to now wait for the charge to clear and the money to go back into my account. $144 pulled from my account for one pedicure. Overall frustrating. There are far better places than here, I wish I had just went to my normal salon instead.

I went to get a pedicure on 12 Jan 2023. I asked how long the wait was, she said”20 to 25 minutes”. After waiting 40 mins, manager told me that 3 of the techs had full sets, and the 4th tech was pregnant and didn’t want to do a pedicure. I was so angry very unprofessional and a waste of my time I will never go back

I went in wanting a galaxy look done. She looked at the picture and said she would do on a test nail to see if she could do it first. I have to say that my nails came out looking better than the picture I showed. She took her time which I appreciated and I could tell that she enjoys what she does. She was just as excited for my nails as I was. I definitely recommend #1 Nails.

I’ve been here multiple times and each time I’ve been it’s been at least a month in between but the lady that does my nails always remembers me. They are so nice and friendly here and the prices are really great. 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone! Unless I didn’t like them and wanted their nails to look bad or something. ♀️
