This was my go to, for a great cut with great people. However, the turn over now is crazy. New people are rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Example, make an appointment where you pay in advance and the barber say no I’ll take a walk in, I know you have an appointment but you can wait. It’s sad to see a great place die like this. Will never go bad.

Went to this place the end of July not realizing there was a lady that worked there my hairdresser name Helen who worked there for 2 years been living in the area almost 22 years if I would have known this I would have been there when she started working there she was nice she was polite she was warm she was friendly an amazing lady hairdresser she did a beautiful job on my hair with a haircut that lasted me so very long that I wish I didn’t get a cut again somewhere else would recommend any woman to go there and have their hair done by her 10 stars for her place is close by and very warm and friendly staff

Had short hair forever but during pandemic started working from home and a year later retired and moved from Brooklyn to Massapequa. Needed a Mens Barber shop and found what I was looking for with some help from Massapequa Neighbors app. Went on line and saw the old fashion Barber Chairs and beautiful old world decor of Nucky’s and knew it was worth a try. I give Oscar and Nucky’s a solid 5 of 5. Oscar is a “real Barber” with real Scissor skills (hard to find today). Oscars got a new customer and fan in me from here on out.

The 1 lady that works there with the pink/red hair is not very customer friendly. She bruised my nephews neck after giving clear direction not to use any blades to shape his neckline. I would not recommend this place ever just because of her!!! BASURA!!!
