I have been going to Nu Wave for years and they always do a good job. I have dreads and they actually care about the health of your hair not just doing it and getting you out. They take the time to educate you on the best way to take care of your hair. I am not good at styling and always leave that up to my stylist and I am never disappointed. Will always recommend them.

I’ve had fairly good experiences here in the past but was very disappointed in the services I got about 6 weeks ago. Overall too many of the stylists are just not friendly and never ask about products they choose to use on one’s hair. If you ask a question to often it’s met with disdain (this is unacceptable) so this visit which has never happened to me before the tech didn’t twist my hair tight enough by week 4 my hair looked as if it had been 8 weeks in smh.. not only that but what is the obsession with using oil to twist? Some hair needs gel in addition to tighter twist for hair to hold up.. I feel like the only way I’d get the service I want is to get all this understood while making my appointment but I think I’ll just go elsewhere…
