This is the best spot in Cambridge for a haircut. Appointments are honored and walk ins welcome. The barbers are professional and polite. It’s just an all round good establishment. Most importantly, the haircut is impeccable every time. I go to Rios, but have also been cut by Marlon. It’s just a quality shop.

I recently went here for the first time. I had just been through a very painful divorce, and after ten years of my (now ex-) wife cutting my hair, I was in dire need of a haircut and beard trim. My beard was large and very long, my hair an awful mop, and I had no idea what I wanted for a haircut. Marlon not only gave me an expert cut, he was extremely understanding and even though I ultimately had him cut everything quite short, he was very reserved and respectful about shortening things gradually to make sure that I was okay with what he was doing. Most of the reviews for this place are phenomenal, which is what brought me here, but I read one or two where people complained about staff not being friendly enough. I can’t picture that happening with these guys, but I can imagine that if I had walked in expecting someone to slather me with meaningless corporate budget driven customer service attention I would have been disappointed. It’s a barber shop, not a Wal-mart. These are great guys that are incredibly friendly and also very busy giving people great haircuts, so if they don’t happen to see you the second you walk in and you have to say hello first, know that you’ll be getting the same attention that they’re giving to other clients, and you’ll be better off in life for learning to roll with that. I’ve already recommended this place to friends and will definitely be going back. Make yourself an appointment on their website, it’ll be worth it.
