Positive: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismI went for a haircut today for the first time, and Nina was so great. She was so friendly and listened to what my hair complaints were. I was so happy with my curly hair cut, it was exactly what I wanted! So happy I found this salon and Nina. They were also very clean and professional.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI went there a couple of weeks ago and I loved it!I had been looking for a curly hairdresser for two years, I did some research on the internet and I came across her salon.I read the reviews and I decided to get an appointment to cut my crazy curly hair (after two years it was messed up, it looked like a jungle) and have full highlights done. I’m really happy with what she did with my hair! Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI’m a 23 year old male who hadn’t gotten a haircut in 13 months and didn’t know how to take care of my curly hair. Nina, the owner of the salon, took me under her wing and gave me the best haircut I’ve ever gotten along with products and information to keep my hair looking good. Megan who is Nina’s styling assistant, washed my hair and styled it quite well. They treated me like family, and I left feeling good and handsome. All my haircuts will be at the N’trigue Salon from now on. I’m a 23 year old male who hadn’t gotten a haircut in 13 months and didn’t know how to take care of my curly hair. Nina, the owner of the salon, took me under her wing and gave me the best haircut I’ve ever gotten along with products and information to keep my hair looking good. Megan who is Nina’s styling assistant, washed my hair and styled it quite well. They treated me like family, and I left feeling good and handsome. I can honestly say this was one of the best salon experiences I’ve ever had!! I have wavy/curly hair and they took their time listening to my concerns and educating me on how to take care of my hair. Nina and Megan were so friendly and helpful. I came out with curls I never even knew I had! I can’t thank them enough. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this salon!!

Critical: Quality, ValueI am extremely disappointed with the performance of this salon. My mother, a new client, asked the stylist for partial highlights and a hair cut. The stylist did not ask for a reference photo to see if she and her client were on the same page (which is odd considering this is customary in every salon I’ve been to). The stylist then proceeded to do said highlights and sent my mom to process with foils and under heat. After apx. 20 minutes, she simply removed the foils and washed the bleach out of my moms hair. If you have gotten highlights literally anywhere else, you would know that the stylist is supposed to check the foils to make sure the hair is lifted to the proper lightness before washing out the bleach. Not to mention, my mother has pretty dark hair…there is no way she lifted light enough in 20 minutes. Anyways, after the stylist washed her hair out, she slapped on a toner/gloss and left her for another 20 minutes. This would be all well and good if her hair was light enough to take a toner in the first place (spoiler: it wasn’t). Now all this left my mom with spotty, banded, orange-y/yellow highlights. I won’t even get into the sad excuse of a “curly cut” that this stylist did. I thought my mom had walked out mid-session until she told me that was after a full $263 (including tip) service.
