Very upset at the service here. I walked in and asked for a French tip. I asked for the “tips to make my nails longer.” While the women doing my nails was working, I noticed she started putting gel, without adding the lengthening tips. So I asked if she was going to put them. She became visibly mad. I was very uncomfortable so I decided to make it easier for her and just do short nails. It was so uncomfortable and awkward. The “massage” was her putting lotion on my arms and not even rubbing it in. She did not even try to make things right. I paid 40 dollars for nails that I don’t even want. I was so upset with how I was treated I went and cried in my car. This was by far the worst nail experience I have ever had.

I’m still somewhat new to the area and not sure where to go to get my nails done. I also waited until the last minute to try and get a pedicure, so the places with better ratings were full. I decided to give Nova Nails a shot and was disappointed. I’m used to having new files, scrubbers, and sanitized tools used by my nail techs. At previous salons they always open a sanitary package of nail tools and the files and buffers have also been brand new. At Nova, nothing was new. The items used on me came out of a drawer with multiple other files, scrubbers, clippers, etc., that looked old and used. When my nail tech was finished with each item, back in the drawer it went. I also didn’t see any certificates/licenses posted, but I could have missed them? The pedicure on the whole is just ok. I did get the basic pedicure, so wasn’t expecting extras, but the massage was not there and while she did clip my cuticles, she didn’t clean under the toenails, and my cuticles still look dry. I’ve never left a nail appointment where I was just generally concerned with the cleanliness of the shop. I won’t be going back.

The best nail salon!! I started getting my nails done at here. Their pedicures are thorough, as they aren’t afraid to “dig in” – my feet always leave looking amazing! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Worst experience ever at a nail salon so incredibly rude. We booked the apt for 3:00 we got there at 3:03 she was all ready calling me saying we were late. We drove up from Tahoe. She asked on the phone if we wanted nail art I said yes my daughter does, but I do not. Then my daughter showed her 3 pictures she said she couldn’t do any of them so then she just asked for a French with a black tip and she tried to tell her no and to do all black. No music or TVs super bad energy smelled like old food. I didn’t even get my nails done because they were trying to work on multiple people at once and I could tell it was very rushed. Over all.. the worst! I have no idea why this place has such great reviews maybe it was different techs working.
