Let me tell you about an amazing man named Steven. I have been going to Steven for about a year and a half. I started with him at apache nails and followed him here at Northwest Nails. Northwest nails has helped him grow in so many ways. These are the newest set that he has done (pink & white glitter). I go every two weeks; like clockwork. It is my safe haven. If you want a salon that knows you by name by the second time you walk through their doors this is the place to go. Steven has been the only person I completely trust with my nails. He is doing my wedding nails. I am an extremely picky person when it comes to my nails and he is so patient and takes his time with me. He truly is one of a kind and this salon has helped him flourish in all aspects.

I was recommended here by someone that got their nails done by Kim #1. Her nails were shorter and super cute and she swore by her so I booked an appt with Kim. I asked for mine to be shortened a little bit and that I wanted the shape to be very sharp. I have natural nails underneath so I’ve been growing them out for awhile. She used the drill to grind the tips down and one was noticeably shorter than the others, which she apologized for. The acrylic application was very fast and well done, but the gel polish was on my cuticle in multiple spots and none of them were shaped correctly. Like all different shapes and they were blunt/more almond-y than sharp/pointy. I ended up shaping them myself and they still didn’t come out how I wanted. They were just so mediocre and I hated looking at them for 3 weeks so I would go back to the shop bc they had a lot of cool colors but I won’t go back to Kim #1 for long nails ever again.

We had an awesome experience here. Called ahead on a Sunday just to check when they closed. They asked what I was needing done. 1 kids pedi and 2 adult pedis. I told them we wouldn’t be in town for another hour as we lived that far away. They said no problem we will see you then! When we arrived they were all set up and ready for us. Very nice and warm welcome. We picked just the basic pedi with gel for all of us and they even gave us a deal for our kids pedi to be turned into a mani/pedi gel. We got some cool designs too! Overall I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. They have kids chairs for a pedi which is what my daughter was excited for.

I’m impressed with Northwest Nails every time I go here. They do a fantastic job with my feet. They have also done a great job for my daughters as well. Very professional and kind. Excellent quality work! I recently had a nail dip done by Kim #2 ☺️ She was really good. My nails needed a lot of help. I don’t do a lot (hardly ever) for myself, and I feel so pretty and finished. Just the lift that I needed!

Worst nail salon in Rochester,MN. Claim they’ve been doing nails for 15+ years but can’t even do a simple French tip. Over charge for things they can’t even do. I wouldn’t even recommend this to a blind person. French manicures

Then I got my nails redone with a dip (which is had on before from another salon) I have only had them for less then 2 weeks and 7/10 of my nails have chipped and broke.
