I’m from out of town, came here because of their reviews and got an awesome haircut from Veronica. Shop was under construction but it was all good and they were still open for business, it’s just those things that have to get taken care of. Thanks northwest barber shop. I will be back.

Seriously my favorite place to get my hair cut in the city of Bakersfield. Cuts cost about $25 each for adults which is cheaper than most places in Bakersfield. Mostly everywhere is $30 with no tip but here you can drop a $5 and come pretty comparable to other barber shops.

Great atmosphere! Great Staff! Military friendly! The owner Rocky did a great job on my cut today and was attentive to detail and made sure that I was well taken care of! Highly recommend! Reasonable prices, and great cuts!

Rocky has been cutting my hair for about 3 years. I get a buzz cut all over and it’s always cut evenly all over my head. He also uses a razor to trim around your ears and the nape of your neck. Rocky is a former Marine, “thanks” for your service Rocky !!!

Just left Rocky, another quick on point fresh cut .. I have been going to see him to get a fresh cut since about 2 weeks after the shop opened and I have been getting fast , friendly , world class service since day one. I recommend everyone I know to go see the crew at the shop bring your kids too , they have a style and a barber to tend to all your needs

Not sure what the guys name was but he was horrible I should have actually asked what it was but I was so irritated when I actually got to look at my hair that I wanted to just get out of there as fast as possible only thing that saved my haircut was the fact I wear a hat most of the time. I asked him to TRIM the top…….he apparently felt that his clippers had a long enough attachment for a TRIM. when I looked in mirror I looked like I just joined the military. I walked in sat in the chair and was out before any of the other customers that were there before me who were already getting their hair cuts. It felt like he was going for speed not quality. Which I would understand if there was more people waiting but there was no one else in there besides myself, a kid and his dad who were already getting their hair cuts. I really don’t know if he was in a rush to sit back down and stuff his face with doughnuts or if he is just that incompetent to know what a “TRIM” is. Maybe he missed that section in his class when he got his certification from walmart. I do know I would never recommend anyone going there and having he chance to get stuck with him. The cute girl and Rocky the owner seemed to be taking their time and doing a good job so if you do go look for them. Not the one who looks like Gabriel Iglesias’ special needs brother…… Hope this is helpful…

Simply put, this place is my new spot! Been looking for a good spot since I moved here and I found it. Walked in, greeted and sat in a chair. Talked the entire time and felt like time just flew by. Rocky is a great dude and I’ll 100% be back!

Listed online they open at 8am. Showed at 815am and waited to 840am. No one ever showed. Guess they work when they feel it. Never got my haircut. Only advice I can give is call in advance, don’t count them being at work on time.
