Shannon butchered my sons hair today. I specifically asked not to cut anymore than 1/2 inch off the longest part on top and she took over 1.5 inches off. I know because I measured pre-cut in order to know how much I wanted her to take off in the first place. I asked for an undercut/disconnected look. Short on sides, long on top so I could comb it over. She didn’t do that either. He’s got a crew cut that literally comes to a point on top of his head. I’m so disappointed. Right before Christmas too. Thank God he’a cute and will recover from this, but we will never be back. This is clearly a bargain barber shop but quality and technique are severely lacking.

This is the best barber shop in Denton. Don’t tell anybody that though. It’s crowded enough as it is. You can call ahead for an appointment, but if you did that you miss half the fun of sitting in the waiting room. Ask Denny when he got his barber license back. He will appreciate your sense of humor!

Shannon, the blond on the end, butchered my son and my own haircut. Claimed he moved when he didn’t then used feathering scissors on the front of his hair leaving it terribly uneven. I asked for a traditional Pompadour not a modern. I told her specifically I didn’t want a backcut since that was a modern and I use grease in my hair. I wanted there to be a DA in the back since i pull it back with grease. She put hard jell in it and gave me a sharp back cut in the back with buzzers not even a fade. She didn’t follow my natural part line and back cut it so bad that it flops over and looks a mess. I’m going to have to go somewhere else and get a proper barber to fix it. I won’t go back. She told me I didn’t know what I was talking about and what I wanted wasn’t a traditional pomp. Half way through she even mouthed off about wanting to charge double for people with longer thicker hair. She couldn’t do the job and charged me for a hack.
