I just moved to Johnson from Burlington in January and needed a new stylist so I tried Northern Highlights . Well I ended up seeing Alexis and she’s amazing .I absolutely loved my cut she did beautifully. Ended up coming back with my boyfriend and he had Crystal cut his hair and beard. He was extremely happy and he looked so handsome after. Now we both are regulars and we love it there . Great environment and great service , I highly recommend stopping by if your in the area.

Critical: Professionalism, ValueWhen I was receiving my trim, the hairdresser asked if my hair was acceptable. I had to ask her to trim my bangs. She had only trimmed the back of head and buzzed the sides. The next day my mother had an appointment for dying her hair. She was ~7 minutes late and the hairdresser told her that she was over 15 minutes late and they only had a time for a partial with an unpleasant attitude. When I was receiving my trim, the hairdresser asked if my hair was acceptable. I had to ask her to trim my bangs. She had only trimmed the back of head and buzzed the sides. The next day my mother had an appointment for dying her hair. Northern Highlights is the place to go for full service beautification. Christal, Lexi and all the ladies are always professional and creative. You ask for what you want and they will do their best to make it happen.. They have you feeling more self confident about yourself when they are done working their magic . I highly recommend their services rather it be a simple cut , color, foils, ombre, or an updo style for a prom or wedding, They do it all .

This was my first time visiting this salon. I love when I can walk into a place with no appointment, tell the girl what I need, and she’s actually capable of doing it! I am terrible with names, she was Chlorissa, Carissa?? Any way, she was great. I hadn’t had a haircut in over a year, walked in, asked if there was a spot for a walk-in and told her I wanted a simple layer cut with layers starting at my ear, and ending at my shoulder. 15-20 minutes later my hair looked great and I was walking out of the salon! Great experience, I highly recommend them!
