They’ve matched my color ideas perfectly with references each time and take their time with every little detail, and always ask your opinion. If you’re looking for a new Salon, I highly recommend giving Northern Charms a chance. This is what I did and I have not been dissapointed in the slightest. They’ve matched my color ideas perfectly with references each time and take their time with every little detail, and always ask your opinion. I had virgin hair, I asked for a shadow root. That was all, just dark roots to be added. Well, it did not take the 1st time. Money wasted. And the 2nd time I guess the stylist thought if she bleached my head then the dye would take. I walked out of the salon with blue, green, gray hair. It was so embarrassing to have to go to work as a manager like that. I can no longer run my fingers through what used to be virgin hair. This lady put my hair in a jail sentence. It will take me atleast 7 years to grow my hair back. How do you compensate a women when you take something so significant from her.

First rating I had submitted was unable to delete. I got my hair cut and loved it as it made my hair more healthy. Hair was also highlighted but it wasn’t as bold as I had expected , however, I did not state that to stylist in salon. I expressed I liked it. I do feel, if I had mentioned stylist it wasn’t what I envisioned 110% she would have touched up as she was very sweet in the salon. I have changed my rating because I do believe that these stylists are very good at what they do, and would definitely re done it. Due to salon being quite a distance away I hadn’t gone back for re-touch ups.

I worked with Mikala Bastian at Northern Charms Salon for my wedding this past Memorial Day Weekend. Because I currently live in Denver, CO, I was going to skip the hair and makeup trial; however, when I planned a quick trip to NH, Mikala made sure I could get in to see her for the trial. She even went so far as to do hair trials for my mother and now mother-in-law! Even though our wedding was hours away from Littleton, Mikala arrived to the venue early and was completely prepared to get started right away. In a few short hours, she had finished hair and airbrush makeup for four bridesmaids, two mothers, and myself – we looked fantastic! What I loved is that Mikala really listened to my requests for the day – I wanted everyone to look beautiful, but as natural as possible. Mikala went above and beyond to make sure we all looked gorgeous, and I look forward to my next appointment with her!

My visit was great..My hair has never looked this great! The service was phenomenal.. Lyne and the girls here are very professional and personable… not to mention how beautiful they all are. I recommend for men and women to come here as they specialize in both gender!!! Or maybe I should say all gender!!!

We went in for the exact same hair cut/style and the lady that did hers didnt do at all what she asked.Then when the time came I got my hair done I got exactly what I asked for. The lady who did my hair was Justine. And when she found out my friend was going for the same thing and got nothing she asked for she insisted on letting her fix it. So after my hair cut my friend sat back down and Justine spent the extra time out of her day to get her hair to what she wanted. Although her original cut didnt come out the way she wanted it Justine saved the day.
