I had an appointment at Northeast Dermatology in early August of 2022. I received a bill in the mail a couple weeks later which I paid promptly. Today 01/25/2023 I received another bill in the mail for $369 for that same appointment months and months ago. This is absolutely outrageous. I have been told this bill is for the lab test, which was out of network from my insurance (Tufts – a good plan) I was told I was within Network when I scheduled the appointment or I would have went elsewhere. This is bad business, not only am I extremely frustrated at the bill but seeing this so long after the appointment itself adds insult to injury. This is the exactly why the healthcare system is broken because of companies like this taking advantage of patients. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

Recently, I took half a day off from work because they said I would need an excision on my thigh. The PA Nichole Branhum informed me that I would need an excision based upon my biopsy results. I came in for the excision procedure, but when the dermatologist very briefly examined my thigh, he determined that I would not need one after all. Instead, I was told to come back after 6 months for a spot check-up. Meanwhile, I took half a day off and spent $30.00. When I called requesting a refund, they referred me to billing. Long story short, they refused to give me a refund since I was seen by a dermatologist (Dr. Greenstein.) Nevertheless, I called them back and have canceled all future appointments and have decided to go to Mass Derm in the future.

Forget about getting your results. I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for results and not one person has returned my phone call. Every single time I talk to the front desk they say they have my results but that they can’t give them to me. Then they proceed to tell me someone will reach back out to me the following day. This has been a revolving cycle. Never again will I go to this office.

Dr. Marchione was clearly annoyed and stressed by any question I had. I made the appointment specifically for that reason – because I had questions for a professional. My appointment with the Dr. was less than 5 minutes. Felt rushed and I was met with short and condescending answers.

Doctor Greenstein, and his assistant Theresa, are so wonderful. In my experience is rare to find such quality care, as a family who has various medical struggles I know from experience that finding a team that not only meets your needs but exceeds them can be extremely difficult. I have so much gratitude for Dr. Greenstein and Theresa for helping my child get the help they need, and look forward to continuing to work with them.

I’ve been to this location 3 times to see Dr. Marchione, each time has had some kind of inconvenience or unpleasant experience. I’ve had a biopsy on my leg where the stitches fell out and was not repaired because I was told it “didn’t need to be”…now I have a large round scar that I absolutely hate. I was also slapped with a $500 bill for it without any warning. I had recently gone back for a check and was greeted by the doctor almost 20 minutes late. One young female staff I informed basically made excuses (with an attitude) for why the doctor was late rather than notifying me that my wait would be much longer than expected.

My son received Excellent personal attention from Nurse Debra Litke at the Beverly Branch. She is knowledgeable in Dermatology and gave wise recommendations to my son as to the course of treatment to follow. I highly recommend Northeast Dermatology. In the past, he has been treated by Dr. St. Pierre who also was very kind and explained the course of treatment thoroughly.
