The barber did a really good job on his hair, and was a nice guy too. They don’t take appointments, but definitely worth a try if you can get in.

Great prices for a great haircut. And you get to catch up on all the downtown gossip since your last haircut! Relaxing experience.However, be prepared for a wait- I would guess 20 min per person ahead of you. Especially on a Saturday AM.

This just isn’t a place to get a haircut, it’s an experience. There aren’t many places like this around anymore. Yeah, you can get a haircut from those places with fresh out of school stylists, but Mike’s place offers much more than just a “haircut.” It’s where people talk and shoot the breeze about what’s going on around town and the world. Mike’s a genuine guy and he gives a fantastic haircut for a very good price. I’ve been coming here for several years and I’m not about to go anywhere else. If you’re looking for a glam place with foo foo coffee and a McHaircut, this isn’t your place. But if you’re looking for an old school nostalgic barber shop, with plenty of banter and getting a good cut at a good value, then this is where you want to go.

This older gentleman is very nice, he is a talker tho. But in all, very clean shop, tools an equipment is very clean an sterilized. I will return again. The best prices in all of Troy, Ohio. I’m a picky kind of guy, an he did an excellent job on my uptown Fade.
