About North Jersey Dermatology Center Since 1992, North Jersey Dermatology Center has been treating patients in New Jersey. Now with 4 North Jersey offices in Rockaway, Parsippany, Clifton and Newfoundland. North Jersey Dermatology Center specializes in Dermatologic surgery, skin cancer, laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology. All procedures are performed in the office. We know many of you may need to see our doctors as soon as possible. Our offices remain open to serve all of your needs through this difficult time. We are using strict CDC and published OSHA guidelines to routinely sanitize our stations and exam rooms. All equipment and patient contact surfaces are also sanitized after each use and again at the end of the day.

Keeps cancelling my appointment (multiple times in a row) and then have to wait over 6 weeks to get yet another appointment for them To yet cancel again. Desk staff is rude. The doctors are pleasant though.

This place deserves ZERO stars. I had an appt at 12:45Pm, I was NOT seen until1:45Pm. I waited all that time to then get an answer from a “professional” that anyone without a medical degree could have told me. This place is a joke. Anyone these days can just get a peice of paper and call it a day. Absolutely the worse. Please STAY AWAY, go somewhere more professional!! And this is suppose to be a big practice so I figured it would be great. And on top of that you have to wait at least 1 month to get an appt. So disappointed. Healthcare is not what it use to be

After waiting an hour and 15 minutes at their office with a line out the door I decided to leave. this place has scheduling issues including rude office staff who barely want to greet you. After walking out I never received a call to reschedule or asked about my experience. Needless to say they didn’t care about getting a new patient

A BIG outfit with many offices and Drs that move around from site to site. You’ll never see the same person twice and they have no idea what the Dr before did. It’s like starting from scratch each time. Big staff turnover. If you want an impersonal money machine for your healthcare.. these are the guys. STAY AWAY!

The doctor is a physicians assistant, but Andrew was professional and explained the procedures as he went along. However my problem was “Matthew” in the office who called to tell me to get different insurance or don’t come back. I explained that I gave them my insurance before they scheduled the appointment and they accepted it. The day of the appointment they took my cards and photocopied them, again with no problem. “Matthew” sent me an Excel Spreadsheet that was 4 pages long showing insurance companies that they accept / don’t accept and there was my insurance listed under “With referral” I wrote to “Matthew: 3 more times without even the courtesy of a reply. They should fire “Matthew”.

Walked in 15 minutes before my appointment and was told that my child can’t be seen because the referral from the doctor was used in prior visit and new one was needed. The appointment was done 2 months in advance and no one bother to inform that a referral is required. The front desk staff is very unprofessional and rude. She kept on repeating the same thing without letting me call my doctor’s office for the referral. She was very disrespectful and I felt discriminated.

Waited for an hour to be seen by a P.A. for a simple issue. When I walked in the front door an employee was asleep at the desk. I can’t comment on the quality of the healthcare because I left without being seen, but I won’t return because of the disregard for their patients’ time.

Dr. Handler does good work and is a nice person, the staff are also helpful however, today I waited 2 hours and 15 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. It was not the first time with a huge delay, but its my last. They need to fire their scheduler.

I will not be going back. I think the clinical staff are knowledgeable and friendly, but I am extremely annoyed by something that happened today. I went back for a 6-week check after having some skin lesions removed. All the clinician did was look at her notes and tell me everything was fine and come back in 6 months. I wasted time driving there and back, paid my co-pay, to be told everything is fine? A simple phone call would have done the same thing without wasting my time and money. Then, when I called back later to cancel my 6-month appointment (after deciding never to go back), they put me on hold for 9 minutes. I’m disgusted.
