About North Jersey Dermatology Center Since 1992, North Jersey Dermatology Center has been treating patients in New Jersey. Now with 4 North Jersey offices in Rockaway, Parsippany, Clifton and Newfoundland. North Jersey Dermatology Center specializes in Dermatologic surgery, skin cancer, laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology. All procedures are performed in the office. We know many of you may need to see our doctors as soon as possible. Our offices remain open to serve all of your needs through this difficult time. We are using strict CDC and published OSHA guidelines to routinely sanitize our stations and exam rooms. All equipment and patient contact surfaces are also sanitized after each use and again at the end of the day.

Horrible experience! Went there for issues I was having, the lady spent maybe 2 minutes with me, if im lucky, would barely let me speak about what was going on! Kept speaking over me, very patronizing and dismissed my concerns.. do not recommend! Found a new dermatologist who actually listened and was able to be treated!

I scheduled my husband to have an appointment with doctor Marc Handler. Instead of him, he met with other doctor for some reason, nobody informed us in advance that there will be a replacement. So she was disrespectful, spent less than 1 min with him, very unprofessional! In addition, it was very long waiting time. Will never go to this place again and will never schedule any appointments with those doctors. Do not recommend!

Never had a problem. Never had to wait too long to go in either in spite of what other people have said. They’ve always been very kind there and have been great with treating and diagnosing my problems. They gave me a medication not that long ago for my acne that has changed my life. My only problem is that they have you make appointments at a “call center” when there is a receptionist right there at the desk and knows about your next appointment a lot better than the person on the phone would. I was trying to make an appointment on a phone that’s hardly ten feet from the desk. It required them to order in a test. It was never ordered and after scheduling another appointment after getting there and realizing they didn’t have it, I ended up waiting almost a whole month before actually getting tested. Besides that, that’s the only issue I’ve had. It seems as though it’s a thing that the whole “company” does because my doctor and PA, and nurse seemed kind of annoyed when we figured out they didn’t have the test/right appointment scheduled. So there was nothing wrong with them personally. They’ve also always been very kind and respectful while in the room.

Terrible service ever since Erika left. The office staff has never been great but it was worth it to see Erika. They don’t take their patients in the correct order (ex taking 4:00 person before 3:45 person), the wait is at least 45 minutes, just for a 2 min talk with a PA. Had a different PA at last appointment who was polite and answered my questions.

I’m not one to write bad reviews but unfortunately it’s needed. We have been coming to this practice for over a year. But since his one dr left, (brittany I believe was her name), it hasn’t been the same. I’ve called for a prescription refill for my son for 2 months and never got a call back. When I called to cancel my son’s appointment, I told them what happened and I didn’t even get a sorry for what happened. Just a have a great day. The Dr he was seeing after brittany, I feel didn’t show much concern or didn’t spend much time with us. She just looked at my son and said ya his eczema is flairing up and prescribes him meds. I wish things were different because it wasnt as far as where we have to go now but unfortunately we did leave the practice. I wish nothing but the best for this practice

The staff is super nice and they seem pretty knowledgeable; however, each time I go I wait over an hour to be seen. As a brand new patient going there for the very first time, I didn’t even see the doctor. They put me on the PAs schedule. I don’t mind seeing the PA (a PA knows just as much as a Dr. and does more than a Dr. in my opinion. Erica is also very nice) but as a brand new patient I should have seen the doctor. Especially since I was told over the phone I would be seeing the doctor. I don’t even think there is a doctor there because I have not once seen the doctor. Last night my appointment was at 5:15 but I wasn’t brought back until 6:20. Then, I waited some more for Erica to actually come into the room. I then had to wait some more to get my blue light treatment. I didn’t leave the office until after 7 yet I spent maybe 5 min in the room with the PA. Its absurd. Every time I am there there is a patient going to the counter complaining about the wait time. Very, very poor time management and bad scheduling.

Since they seem to have lost Erika Peereboom, my confidence in their Newfoundland facility is SHOT. Had a cyst removed At the Green Pond facility, stitches out in Newfoundland, The Stitch job was ragged at best, the removal was probably the worst I ever had and that was after 10 days, now I have a large gap in the middle of the wound. Not bleeding but it sure is gonna leave a BIG scar.

Called to make appointment and the women was extremely rude and even hung up on me. Be aware you will also wait for hours after your appointment just to be seen.
