I highly, HIGHLY recommend North Alabama Ink && asking for Shawn!!! There was a great overall atmosphere at the shop. But when Shawn got a hold of the design inspiring my tattoo, the work he did to get to my end product was way beyond what I had hoped. The tattoo looks amazing, it is absolutely my favorite that I have, his execution was flawless, he has a very steady hand && he kept me entertained the entire time…which was just an added bonus. Amazing! Second time in a month. My tat artist was Shawn both times and he far exceeded my expectations! I will only go to him from now now. He is light handed and super amazing with small detail. His choice in colors is incredible. I brought him ideas and he added his own special little touches. This places has many awesome artists as my son, husband and a few friends have came here. I definitely recommend and plan on being a frequent customer. The prices are very reasonable.

I got my first tattoo a month ago and decided to use Shawn based on his Google reviews and work on Instagram. I’m so glad I did. He is the nicest person and has the best customer service. I was indecisive and unsure of what I wanted and he patiently answered all my million questions and helped me come up with a design I was happy with. I was originally wanting a big floral forearm piece but didn’t know for sure what I wanted and he helped me decide on a smaller piece for my first time which was a good idea. His prices are reasonable and he does an excellent job and makes sure it’s perfect and you’re 100% happy before you leave with your new tattoo and explains everything about after care and is great with any follow up questions and concerns during the healing process. I can’t recommend Shawn enough. You won’t regret it. I just used him for my second tattoo only a month later, that big floral forearm piece I always wanted, and it’s amazing! I’ll post that later once it’s healed. I showed him a pic of what I was looking for and he came up with a design and we messaged back and forth about all the details I wanted and got it perfect. Definitely going to be getting more tattoos in the future thanks to him. Thanks Shawn! Pics are the day of and 1 month healed. He also offers free touch ups if necessary within a certain amount of time, which I might do for the sparkles. Looks great though!

North Alabama Ink seriously has some of the most amazing artists in the Shoals area!! I had Shawn as my artist yesterday and he did the sickest Banksy piece on my leg. It’s my favorite so far! Colby also did two of my other pieces and they are so dope. North Alabama Ink is the BEST spot for your next piece!! Also the whole establishment is so clean and everyone there is so friendly, you seriously feel right at home. If you are looking for top of the line, knowledgeable artists and a truly authentic experience, go see these guys!!
