My son’s have been seeing Marcus since he gave them their 1st initial cut. I sometimes bring them instead of Dad just to sit and lounge. TV is on with a great movie, light music in the background, friendly environment, appropriate conversations. Everyone that walks in greets each other, teaches my boys the respect of a brotherhood. I love the atmosphere it sets for my young black sons.

Never in my life have I ever experienced what I did in this place. As a single mom I walked in with my 8 year old to get a haircut. Wasn’t greeted from no one. A bunch of old black men couldn’t even step up to greet nor make the atmosphere welcoming for a young black kid. Before sitting and waiting I asked how much for a kids hair cut and someone yelled out “$12” I sat with my son for about 2 minutes. Again no one said anything to my son or I. And I just walked out and took my business elsewhere. A bunch of older(old) black men should be disgusted with y’all selves. Y’all wonder why the youth don’t respect y’all. Do better for the community!
