I had a great experience with Nori Kohana. On my first visit I saw Rumi and had the massage/ cupping combo. It was better than my massage at a Dead Sea Resort in Israel and the Four Seasons Spa. On my 2nd visit I saw Audrey. The massage therapists here are professional, skilled, kind and they care. I highly recommend Nori Kohana.

An affordable massage spot on the windward side, cute kitsch-y items for sale inside like wall signs, clutches, canvas totes – also priced reasonably. I have come here a few times including once when (VERY) pregnant seeking some relief and relaxation. While never disappointed, I will say I don’t personally believe there are many therapist at this location comfortable doing deep tissue/shiastu style massage. The massages I have experienced have all been moderate pressure, I’ve even asked for more intensity, and a lot of stretching techniques, still helpful but not that exact massage I had hoped for. For those seeking a spa type environment, this is more “boho-chic”. Each room that I’ve personally been in has been fitted with an individual wall A/C unit which does make noise, beds aren’t heated, and I always have a different therapist– none of this I personally mind, especially at $49/hour. I’ve been able to book for same day appointments without any problems. Not sure of the capacity to do a “couples massage” in the same room as my SO and I have always been placed separately. TIP: BRING CASH!! There is a discounted cash price.

To start, finding a massage therapist to fit your personal needs is sometimes a coin toss, everyone is different. However, I STRUCK GOLD! I started with monthly visits with Jordan, who is absolutely fantastic. Then I was off the island for a few months and came back and found Mahea. HOLY SMOKES, she is professional, attentive, asks questions of problem areas before each session, does an incredible combination of deep tissue and stretching, both of which I heavily need. While I go in there knowing I need their expertise, somehow she finds places I didn’t know were in need of attention. I always leave there feeling relaxed and like a brand new human. Highly recommend not only Mahea, but the business as a whole!

This is not a resort so manage your expectations but then be pleasantly surprised. I continue to receive quality massage at reasonable prices and make it a monthly visit. The biggest complaint I could state is lack of parking and what is available is very tight. I encourage you to park a little ways away and walk. However this is a small discomfort for the service provided. Website is a little clunky and could use refining but provides everything you need. Book online today and be surprised at the amazing quality this little shop offers! So not waste the money going to a resort or driving to honolulu, come here for a great massage that focuses on quality of service. For the budget minded, I encourage you to book a trainee and allow them to get experience. You will be impressed with the quality received for the very reasonable price. Highly recommend.
