I forgot to do a review after I got my hair braided here about a month ago, but I had to come back to leave a wonderful review for this summer salon. The ladies here are all very nice and my scalp was not on fire and throbbing like it usually is when I go to other hair braiding salons. I will most definitely be returning here to get braids in the future. Mama nono is really sweet and delivered exactly like the picture that I showed her. I was able to get my hair done in four hours. Five stars!

Box braids are not worth the amount of money they asked for and don’t last long at all. My braids are different lengths & my hair is sticking out of the braids as well. Customer service was also terrible when I visited their shop.

Nono African Braiding is a treasure found during my visit to South Carolina. Every time that I visit, Nike does my hair. My stylist in Delaware has brand-new my hair for over 12 years. I did not think that anyone could match up to her skill set. I am pleased to say that Nike is the go-to braiser. She is very kind, poised, and most undoubtedly skilled. She now braids my hair and my niece’s hair monthly. Thank you, Mrs. Nono, for the holiday greeting cards & thank you, Ms. Nike, for maintaining my hair.

These girls can braid! The most absolutely best treatment i have had in a braiders salon! My braids wasn’t killing my scalp, they took care of my edges and my braids were done with 3 girls on my head and all my braids are the same consistency! Came at 3 got out at 7! My permanent place to get my hair done now from now on! Box Braids

Nono’s is the best hair braiding place around! I traveled 3 hours just to get my braided in knotless braids. Three different ladies worked on my hair, and the end results were phenomenal. I applaude all the ladies working in the shop for their patience, professionalism and excellent quality of work. I will definitely make the 3 hour drive again. Thank’s for such Great Service!!!

Nono and her team are very professional, and you’re NOT there for an 8-hour shift. You’re in and out 3-4 hours. I have gone there for kinky twist and box braid. The first time I went to the salon, I could not believe how quickly they finished my hair and how great it looked once they finished. This is where you should go if you want great looking braids, in half the time of some of the other African Braiding Salons. Nono’s African BRAIDS in Mauldin, SC.
