Positive: QualityHad my hair done for the second time by Tiana. I normally hate having my hair done because I have an aversion to people touching my hair and have had previous hairdressers be incredibly rough while styling it as it tangles easy.Tiana was so gentle the entire time I actually ended up falling asleep (whoops), which was a first for me. Recently moved to Waxhaw and after some searching found Noma, I will never go anywhere else. The staff was very welcoming and Annette was absolutely amazing! My hair has seen better days after years of box coloring, Annette took the time to fix it and has my hair looking/feeling better than ever. I would highly recommend Noma (especially Annette) to anyone looking for a new salon if you want quality work and a great experience.

Absolutely the worst color job I have ever received. The stylist left purple from the toner in my hair, and assured me it would wash out. A week later, my hair was still lavender in places. Called to ask for help, made an appointment, and the stylist was a no-show.

I went to Noma for the first time today and felt the relaxed friendly atmosphere as soon as I walked into the shop. Gina colored and cut my hair and she is EXCELLENT! The Redken coloring product she used on my hair was wonderful – it looked so natural and left my hair with an amazing shine. Gina brings her “Manhattan savvy” background to her clients and gives an awesome haircut! Prices are reasonable and it’s definitely worth the drive for me from South Charlotte to Waxhaw.

Had an appointment and the stylist texted about 40 minutes before my appointment to reschedule due to an emergency (a sick cat). We rescheduled for the follow day and she reassured me there would be no need to reschedule again because she would have help available if issues arose again. The day of our rescheduled appointment, I got another text saying she wouldn’t make it leaving me totally stranded because every other salon in the area was closed or already booked solid.
